50 Hikes in the Sierra Nevada (Explorer's 50 Hikes)

I really like this guide. I've used it in the Tahoe area and in Sequoia NP. It has nice clear descriptions. Sometimes we followed her hike exactly, and other times it got us to a good area and we took a slightly different hike. All great.The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is no index. So, if someone tells you "there's a great trail to Eagle Falls" you can't just look up Eagle Falls in the index. You have to know to look at the "Rubicon" trail description that also mentions Eagle Falls. First hiking guide I've owned without an index, which I think should be fixed in future editions.
