The Chocolate Lovers: The Complete Series Paperback – July 16, 2013

I read this series a while back and as much as I love this series, I remember why I didn’t care for it so much to the first time. I felt that there was way to much cussing and way to many things that normal adults my age wouldn’t say. And as cute as Gavin was I wouldn’t have let him talk the way he did about a lot of things. He was one violent spoken child. Anyways other than that I loved the fact that Carter and Claire found each other again and that they got their happiness. I was also glad that they didn’t have a huge drama fest that left them not together for a while. While most of the things they said and did were funny it was really hard for me to connect with them due to the maturity of it. That is why I only gave this four stars. I am still thinking about reading the next spin off series for their children. I will however say that some of my favorite lines come from Gavin: "Hey, Carter, I'm team Jacob bitch!" and then my next favorite; "Get me some scissors, a razor blade, a jar of peanut butter and some safety goggles,' Gavin says coming up next to us. 'I got this one.'" That kids funny sometimes.

Where have these books been hiding?!?! Ok, I've had them on my TBR forever... why oh why did it take me so long to get to them. I read a lot. I mean a lot. And I've enjoyed a lot of what I've read- to a point where I want to finish a book to see how things work out or to get to the good parts... but these books, I didn't want to put them down just to so I could finish them, but because I just plain loved them. Each and ever word. It has been a LONG time since I've read something that caused me to laugh out loud so hard- these made me lose my breath and my husband to take pictures of me looking stupid laughing while clutching my kindle. Part of me is sad that I am done with them now, part of me wants to go buy the next set of her books and part of me just wants to re-read those again despite the fact my TBR is a mile long.What I do know is I loved every second of these books and each of the characters. Well done, Tara Sivec. I will definitely be adding you to my automatic buy list.

If you are down and need a pick me up this is a sure fire way to get it! I have never laughed so hard in my life.This series is so good that I have had 5 of my friends buy it as well. And me and my 2 Bffs always crack jokes back and forth about scenes form these books. There seriously wasnt one page that i turned that i didnt laugh. Not. One. not just a chuckle. no no a full out belly laugh. Like ugly cry because I was laughing so hard kind of laugh. Claire, Jenny, and Liz are so much like myself and my two bffs that it is unreal. Jenny will have the tears of joy flowing from your eyes and the bickering and love from all of the characters is awesome. if I could give this series 10 stars it wouldnt be enough. I have reread this series 3 times and I laugh just as hard every time I do a reread! Tara broke the mold with this series. awesome job!

This series was hilarious! Warning... do not read in public or you'll be looked at funny or told to be quiet because of laughing loudly! LOL Seriously you won't be able to contain your hysterical laughter. I was even sent to my room by my husband and my son and asked to shut the door because I was being too LOUD!! I found myself talking to myself saying "No they aren't doing that are they? OMG I have to stop laughing, I'm choking..." Snort, Laugh, Snort!!!! Claire, Carter & Gavin are great to start off with then you have Liz & Jim and OMG Jenny & Drew are nuts! This has to be one of the best series ever!

She is the most hilariously inappropriate author I have EVER had the pleasure of reading. You will fall in love with the whole crew as they come together - paring off and starting their lives together. You'll get to experience all the highs and lows - and the wonderful in-betweens. And not only that, but you'll get to experience the most, amazing foul mouthed kid who speaks his mind - you will laugh till your sides hurt, or choke on your own spit.It's one of those series you tell ALL Your friends OMG you HAVE to read this and they always poo poo you off but when they finally get around to it they call you up snorting and wondering what the heck to them so long to read these... and you get to give them the ultimate I TOLD YOU!

This is the best series.... many giggles. I have actually gone back and re-read it!! Love the author!

Where do I even start?? Okay the first book I read by Tara Sivec was Shame on You. It was so funny and I loved it so much I had to have more. So I got this series and I was not disappointed!! It is a very sweet love story and so hilarious!! I have never laughed so much in my entire life!! I had tears streaming down my face and almost literally wet my pants!! Now I am going to buy the Chocoholics Series and I can't wait for more books from this author!! She is now my all-time favorite author!!

I have never laughed so much at a book in my life! The characters are great! I can completely connect with them and issues that they have with life, friends, family, and their own children. I think all of them are great and enjoyed reading about all of their antics with each other, but I believe my favorite is Drew! He is absolutely freaking hilarious! I will definitely keep this series on my kindle so I can read it anytime I want. If I'm ever down I can just look up all of Drew 's shirts and instantly be in a better mood!!!!

Oh my gosh, I think I have found my new favorite author of all time, I have never read a series and absolutely pissed myself laughing, every single thing about this series is fantastic, the characters are easy to connect to and the things that they say is hilarious, especially when it's about their sexapadesOk let's start with book one Claire is a single mother after a one night stand in college results in Gavin, probably the funniest kid I have ever read about, he loves to show his penis to anyone who wants to see (he is ts by showing the ones who don't either), when Carter walks back into Claire's life the instant chemistry between them is set alight and they cannot control how they feel for each other and the amount of "phone calls" that follows is scorching and yet humorous. Throw in a few friends and we have the seriesBook two is more of book one, except like chocolate your craving it, you need to read more just for the belly splitting laughs, the situations that Claire and Carter find themselves in is hilarious throw in a few attempted proposals four wacky friends who all have their opinions on everything and you have the perfect chocolate cocktail that leads nicely on to the desert which of course is even more chocolate scrumptiousBook three was hilarious with sex swings, skittle and more, jenny and Drew and so funny, the things that they get up to are enough to make a tomato blush, but they are likable and as with the past two books you find that you can't get enough.I give this series a chocolate melting 5 stars

I bought this as a recommendation, even though I mostly stick to my KU subscription for reading material and I'm so glad I did.Book 1 in this box set is without doubt one of the funniest, most irreverent stories I have ever read. I was literally laughing out loud and I was laying in bed, with my shoulder quaking trying to keep quiet so I didn't wake hubby because I couldn't put it down.Worth every penny and highly recommended.

i loved this book, think Anns summers party with lots of wine! this is one of the funniest book series on amazon, nothing else will every beat this series, i was in tears laughing sooooo much. if there is one book series you should try it's this one 3 books and a short story all in one book. and tara sivec also has a book 4 out LOVE AND LISTS which is Gavin's story when hes slightly older. A RECOMMENDED MUST READ, ! i loved this series so much i have in on my kindle and in paperback. can't wait to read the next book. tara sivec is on of my fave authors. give it a try you won't be dissappointed!!

I read the first book a while back, then this collection came out, i'm so glad I bought it!, I have now read them all, they are just laugh out loud funny, cheeky and they give you a warm happy feeling throughout, as your reading you do wish you were friends with Claire, Liz and Jenny, they have so many funny situations. I cannot even begin, please, please give them all a read, you won't regret it, by the end of the series, I have to say my favourite character was Drew, he's comes across as a bit of a doof but you kinda love him for it, well I did....

oh my god, this book is a riot!!! I have to say I've had this book on my to read list for a while now and the cover didn't really grab my attention, now I feel stupid because what a read. This has to be up there as one of my all time favourite books. I am in love with carter, I NEED one for myself!!!!Gavin, what a cutie. It's definitely a laugh out loud book so all I can suggest is don't read on any public transport or anywhere where laughing on your own will make you look crazy. A MUST, MUST, MUST read ;)
