An excellent addition to my cookbook library.
I am very pleased with the exceptional condition of the book. I paid a "used" price for a "new" book. THANKS to a great seller!

Great book, hard to navigate.
My wife loves all things Southern Living, so the past few years I've gotten her a new cookbook for Christmas. I should have taken the advice from other reviews, but this book is very hard to navigate. I'm still trying to make sense of how they thought this would work. My wife likes to get inspiration from cookbooks, so I think she'll still enjoy it, but it definitely doesn't follow the classic cookbook format for the main part of the cookbook (soups and salads, main courses, dessert, etc.). Also, a majority of the cookbook is in black and white, so that was a bummer. One of my favorite parts of annual recipe cookbooks is seeing all of the great (and colorful) pictures of the food! The general outline of the 2015 Annual Recipes book is unique in that it highlights recipes from each month of the year, so it almost looks like a magazine that got converted into a cookbook. There is a small Holiday 2015 section towards the back, but it only has a few recipes and counts for December's month. There are multiple indexes in the back: Recipe Title, Month-by-Month, and General Recipe.Bottom line is if you love the way recipes are laid out in the magazine, chances are you'll love this cookbook. If you like the more traditional format, this might not be for you.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR THE FAMILY
The last few years the book the is not quite as classy looking with regard to the pages. I guess not that big a deal. I buy 5 copies each year for my 4 children an myself. This year I bought an extra one for the oldest granddaughter for Christmas. The tradition goes on since 1979 !!!. I wish they still made a Master Index. The last one of these ended in 2005.

Love SL but not as much as the older issues. Still great value!

Good, with reservations
Doesn't seem to be the quality of printing that we have had in the past. Had to send back the first copy because of moisture warping. Second copy was still not as good as I would want if I were giving it as a gift. I'm sure the recipes will be as good as always. This is my 37th year to add this cookbook to my collection.

Makes me wish my 2014 edition didn't look like a cheap knockoff
A real improvement over last year's Southern Living cookbook. Last year's book was a low-quality self-covered hardcover; this year, they've gone back to the dust jacket format they've used in years past. Makes me wish my 2014 edition didn't look like a cheap knockoff... Only problem this year is that their cookbooks have gotten slimmer over the year, and fewer of the recipes are targeted towards average consumers.
