Beef Patty, Jalapeno Pepper Jack MRE Meal - Genuine US Military Surplus Inspection Date 2020 and Up

I personally was extreamly satisfied. The Beef patty could have used a bit motr jalapeño flavor, but still had enough kick. Very much like a spicy jerky stick but not dry at all. The blueberry/cherry cobbler was ridiculously good for an M.R.E. dessert. Loved that it came with a twin pack of wheat slices great for using one for the patty and one for the cheese spread. The cheese spread was decent just like cheese whiz, but i was hoping for bacon flavor. Then there was a large chocolate chip cookie that wasnt in anyway too crunchy, nice and soft. Both drinks were delicious. (Cocoa, fruit punch) The only problem i ran into was fitting all the heatable items in the flameless heater bag, but that was okay because the flameless ration heater stayed hot long enough to separate the heating process. Finally, the accessory packet. Most of the usuals; salt, toilet paper and gum but no matches but was suprised to find mustard and ketchup which i would definitely call a fare trade. On top of everything i was happy to know it was packaged in 2014 being only 2 and a half years old.

Great for primitive camping, I hiked 2-3 miles into the mountains to hunt. This helped me save a lot of weight on cookware. It has everything you'll need for a meal from cooking the food to utensils, even toiletries. Tastes great on top of it all. 10/10 will buy again for future trips.

Waaayy bigger than i thought it would be. It was a Christmas gift to my husband because he was curious about them. I told him even when i don't make dinner he still had this, so technically i still fed him lol. Super excited for this!

the jalapeno beef patty was disgusting. The smell reminded me of canned dog food, mushy texture.

I expected to have to force this down, I only bought the MREs because it fit the theme of the event I was going to for the weekend. I bought the Jalepeno beef patty from this company. It was smaller than a hamburger patty, but it was rather tasty, especially if you're a fan of spicy food. The packet was stuffed full of other things. Two dessert sides. Cheese spread and the typical nasty wheat crackers every MRE has, a hot beverage drink powder and a gatorade type drink powder, gum, spoon, mustard, salt, pepper, napkin.The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because it didn't have the water purifier for the beverages. The instructions on the hot beverage include purifying the water with a supposedly included pouch, but the required pouch for that wasn't inside. But I had safe drinking water so it didn't affect me at all. But if you are buying this for an event where you're not sure you'll have access to safe drinking water, you might not want to rely on the MRE to include the purifier, and bring your own supplemental water purifiers.

Did not disappoint, one of my favorite MRE’s.
