Another Arslan masterpiece centering on the famous homiliary of Mush which was rescued by two brave women finding its way to the Madenataran. The manuscript weighed about 70 pounds.The women divided it into two halves.One half was wrapped in cloth and buried in a churchyard. The other half was carried to the Holy See of Echmiadzin in Armenia by one of the surviving women.The buried half was later found by a Russian soldier and taken to join the other half.The story shows us the extraordinary courage of these two women who believed that by saving the book they themselves would be saved.It gives us hope of resurrection after death.
