I honestly bought this butane torch for the look (the pink is adorable), but it ended up impressing me way more than expected. It feels sturdy and well-made—not cheap or flimsy like some other torches out there. The flame is strong, consistent, and fully adjustable, which makes it perfect for everything from caramelizing sugar on desserts to small kitchen or DIY tasks. The ignition works smoothly, and I like that it has a safety lock for peace of mind. It’s also really comfortable to hold, and the base keeps it stable when you set it down. Just keep in mind it doesn’t come with butane, so you’ll need to fill it before using. This torch is very convenient to have for my projects. I like the compact design and the easy-to-handle shape. It provides a strong flame and has been useful when I need a more precise heat source. I’m pleased with the overall quality.

Great design, lightweight, slip-proof, actually stays lit continuously unlike other competitors! Looks classy on the coffee-table and has a great range for the nozzle stream.

So far, so good. I WILL make note: 3 stars because “so far so good”.. I’m testing this leak others have mentioned and to that I say- make sure the fuel flow regulator (the tiny wheel with the arrow) is turned off before filling with butane. It might be a tad tight at first making you think it’s off.. keep turning. I heard it leak as soon as I filled it but realized this thing was delivered with the regulator wide open… Turn it until it’s shut off… Beyond that, we’ll see..

Awesome. Lights easily and quickly anything you are wanting to light. Great for getting air bubbles out of epoxy and for food brazing.

I purchased this lil champion just over a year ago and it’s still helping me get to that next level. Once you realize that the power that is just between you, your thumb, that lil plastic clicker and a jet engine is all yours, you are in a great spot! This practice your multi tasking with this dragon before you go on torching your “crème brûlée” or else you’ll fry that crap in the worst way! Plus, I don’t know about you, but I’m not one for burnt “crème brûlée”, it tastes nasty.

I have used this only about 20 times. I liked this unit until it would not light even though a spark. After repeated attempts it did light but flamed out the sides and not at the nozzle. I read other reviews that had this happen. It is dangerous. From ME to manufacturer via email: "Continued trying to get this to work, and it ignited not at the nozzle but just ahead of the flow control. This unit is no functional and as it is less than 9 months old, I am requesting a refund. Response from RAVS: "To proceed with a refund, please provide your order number. Alternatively, if you prefer a replacement with a brand new unit, kindly share your shipping address, and we will arrange that for you. Let us know your preference, and we’ll assist promptly." Information for new unit provided and nothing since and nothing has arrived after 2 weeks. If a unit is received, I'll note.

Fired right up pre filled it not so much a welding torch

Loses gas so quickly and you have to put it to max for it to work.

Feels ok in the hand, doesn't feel cheap because of the textured tank also not high quality either. One feature is missing and not mentioned in the product features, you can adjust the flame high to low but you cannot adjust the intensity of the flame like a Dremel Versatip or Proxxon Microflam. It really is designed for kitchen use I assume, that is why it only has high and low flame setting that's it. Comes is cardboard box and there are 3 plastic tips for the butane tank in the box for refilling.
