Great for windy/cold days at work love them

If you work oilfield in CO, WY, ND, etc.....it gets cold. Lotta times you are stuck outside for hours in below zero with some cut to the bone wind chill. This is the best head warmth system around.

Good fit and buttons hold up.

Another review said it wouldn’t work with a ratchet suspension hard hat. Not true! No surprises. As listed.

I think it's pretty nicely made and it feels like it would be very warm and comfortable overall, but it needs a few improvements. It also does not cover your face.The cap is made like a welders skull cap made of a thin denim, with a thin, red fleece liner. The seams on the cap were not noticeable when I tried it on and put on my hard hat. The 2-layer thickness of the cap is just right, in my opinion, for hard hats, as many beanies are too thick to truly keep hard hats on without straps. The neck band is made of a thick, 2-layer sweater material with elastic in it so it fits many neck sizes. It is comfortable and is so thick it should keep your neck super warm.It comes with hard hat suspension slots and two suspension velcro straps on the front sides, but they don't fit MSA hard hat suspensions.I'm a 5ft 7in male, 166lbs, a 38-40 chest, and small head circumference of 22in (small/medium hat size 7) and the cap drowns me, covering my eyes a bit. The zipper sits right across the center of my ears, and ear warmer pockets sit below my ears. If I pull the back down to slide the cap back over my head and out of my eyes it almost fits but bunches up way to much in the back.I estimate this head covering to be about 23.5in circumference or about a 7-1/2 hat size, L/XL. The cap is about 5 inches deep. One-Size hats are generally too big for me, as I have to use one or two of the snaps on the back and then the forehead portion is too big and does not touch my head.My hard hat helped the fit little when pulled back. It's still big enough I returned it. I think it might fit most people's average and large heads. I like it enough so far I would pay more for a properly fitting one.Pros:*Well made.*Thick and warm.*Comfortable (with small shortcomings).*Top cap is 2-layer: lightweight denim with thin nice fleece liner.*Top Cap seams are not noticeable.*Zip off neck gaiter option.*Neck Gaiter is a thick, ribbed, premium sweater type material.*Neck gaiter is very stretchy, 14-21in around, and 9in long.*Neck Gaiter has 2 buttons for securing around neck and under chin.*Straps and slots for securing to hard hat suspensions, help keep hats on.*Small ear warming pockets. 2-3/8in x 3in pockets.Cons:*One Size. Fits medium heads best but okay for my small head.*For the velcro for strapping to hard hat suspensions: the hook strap is plenty long but the loop side patch is too small and doesn't quite make it around my MSA suspension enough to stay secured (velcro uses 2 sides: hook and loop). I'll have to change the loop side of the velcro to fit my hard hat.*The slots for fastening to hard hat suspension are too small to fit MSA hard hat suspensions. I would have to cut them longer (and stitch them so they don't fray) and then they "might" fit.

This product will not fit a ratcheting suspension for a MSA hardhat without modification. The slits need to be widened in order for the product to work properly. Which I feel is unacceptable, considering the amount of people who use this style of hardhat in the industry. As far as quality, it seems that it will be warm and it is long enough to cover your neck to your shoulders, but altering it to make it work, kind of sucks.

Would definitely buy again. Shipping was fast and was very happy with the product. Would definitely buy again!!

Work in a shop with no heat and this product helps to keep me warm and from being burned

This liner is actually much better quality than the pics would suggest. I was pleasantly surprised, especially for the price.
