Pretty jumbled read, but has some OK information.
I already knew when the introduction to the book told me it would "tell me EVERYTHING" I need to know about owning a winery - bold claim! The first chapter in it's entirety is just vocabulary; It reminds me of the vocabulary sheets I used to get in middle school that listed terms that all had unrelated meanings in alphabetical order. I wish it would have been organized in relevant sections so you didn't have to reference terms from a multitude of pages when you learned a new one which included definitions of terms from pages ago. Whew! Anyway, this definitely won't teach me everything but it's an OK read - Highly recommend getting some flashcards out to make it worthwhile...

Not very useful, unless you really know nothing...
I'm a large-scale (1.5-2 tons/year) amateur winemaker interested in what it takes to start a winery. I found this book to not be very useful. A lot of the information about wine making etc.is just surface-level stuff, and some amount isn't really factually correct, or is so vague as to be useless or even misleading. This made me question whether the author had actually made wine before. My biggest complaint is that essentially everything in this book is "wikipedia level" information, or just common sense and it kind of hard to see how it could be very useful.

Valuable
Good and informative read. Covers topic well. If you are considering this line of work this is a great start.

All but useless
Firstly whoever proof read this book was dyslexic and could not spell either, the layout was annoying. As to the content nothing original, not really useful at all, the author obviously knew more about tasting then the process , totally aimed at the American Market.
