Evenflo God Securemax Moonstone (30412311), 26.5x16x26 Inch (Pack of 1)

I wanted to wait a few months of using this car seat before giving my thoughts (hence the dog hair). First, I love Evenflo. I’ve never had a bad product from this company. Overall the car seat serves its purpose. It feels nice and secure and I love how easy the base is to install. The padding is very comfortable and the newborn insert is great. I love that the harness is adjustable without having to take anything apart. It’s very sleek, and looks and feels luxurious. That being said I have just a few minor complaints.The first is that the sun shade does not open and close very easily. It’s very stiff and loud, so if you have a baby sleeping and trying to transfer in or out of the car seat, putting the sunshade up or down might wake them. It’s not easy to do one handed and it’s just very awkward.Second, the lining of the car seat likes to slide off around the edges. It’s not a huge deal but it’s just annoying to be adjusting all the time. There are no clips around the bottom or sides to secure the lining onto the shell of the car seat, and I feel like it could benefit from some.Lastly, is the handle. Having other kids I have to be able to carry the car seat one handed. I usually like to hook my arm under it and carry the handle with my elbow. The problem is that this handle is so narrow, and so close to the sunshade that you have to jam your arm under it and it’s not very comfortable.For the price and the features I think it’s nice. There are just a few minor technical features that could be improved to make the use for parents easier and more comfortable.

I received this car seat in the color "moonstone", I immediately opened it upon arrival and liked how easy it was to unpackage. My husband anchored the base in our SUV in minutes. The seat itself I absolutely LOVE because it is lightweight and sleek. The handle is narrower than I've seen on other brands. I feel like it distributes the weight more evenly than the boxy handles on other brands/models. My son has a thicker neck and with other seats the straps would rub against his neck leaving red lines that would eventually fade, with the Evenflo gold sensor safe car seat that does not happen. It comes with strap covers which are soft - he doesn't fuss when we tighten the straps! I don't even think he realizes we are doing it! I would also like to say that the strap adjustment system is AMAZING!!!! I did not have to struggle with unhooking it in the back of the seat pulling the straps through and then finding the right size - this is one handed accessible - you just pull the little handle at the top of the piece of the seat the straps are attached to and it adjusts according to your child's size!! PHENOMENAL feature!!!! The only down side for me is that there isn't an adapter YET to coordinate with the Uppa Baby Vista V2. I'd like to see Evenflo make a connecter so I don't have to take my baby out of the car seat to put into the stroller, I'd rather be able to just take the car seat out of the car and click it into an attachment on my stroller. That is honestly the only downside I found. Other than that it's a really great product and I'd recommend it to any of my expecting friends!

This car seat has a tracker a tempature gauge it lets you know if the adult with the baby left the car it’s amazing I love this car seat and love the reassurance I will feel with this product

This car seat is so soft and lightweight but is very sturdy and comfortable for our little one. Love Evenflo products so much, they’re all we use for our children’s transportation needs.

We love how easily this pairs with the Evo Xpand stroller. The car seats are well made, comfortable, stylish, and they even have a nice safety feature with the Sensor safe clip. Our babies seem to feel pretty cozy in them and often fall asleep. I like the foldable hood that is SPF rated and it’s also relatively lightweight making travel easier for us. Sensor safe let’s us know the temperature of our vehicle and alerts us if it’s too cold or too hot.

I absolutely love this seat. It is soft and padded. Seems comfortable for my daughter. The safety features (not Bluetooth) are great. Multiple ways to ensure that your child is strapped in correctly.The only think I can complain about is that there is a Bluetooth connection in the chest clip. I removed the battery to ensure there is no harm to my daughter. However, I didn't see that it was Bluetooth before I bought it. I should have read a bit more I suppose. It is definitely NOT healthy to have EMF on a newborn, especially not over their heart. It is easy enough to remove the batter and not connect the other portion of the "safety feature".Like I said, the entire seat is beautiful and works great. Just get the Bluetooth off the chest.

i have been using this seat for a little over 3 months now and i love it exept for the sensor to tell me if i left her in the care is somehow messed up my phone will repeatedly yell at me saying “child in car” when she’s not nor is the car seat it says the whole time i’m getting her out of the car and carrying her upstairs and then for a little bit while we’re inside and the other day i got notifications for like a whole 24hrs saying that i left her in the car when she was definitely not in the car

This car seat is absolutely amazing. Has some of the best safety features I’ve seen whole time I was shopping. It is pretty reclined so if you have a small backseat it might not fit perfectly. When connected to the base it’s got a little weight to it, but the car seat alone is extremely lightweight. Also cute colors that aren’t overwhelming!
