Great Choice. Very Helpful. Easy To Carry
With dozens of these sold online under different names, it can be confusing deciding which to buy. I have been very pleased with this one. The legs are thicker and sturdier than some of the far smaller ones I've seen, although with this being a mini tripod, it's obviously still highly mobile and easy to tote. It's about 9" tall. The rubber grips on every ball joint are very helpful for stabilizing the tripod in all the endless positions you can put it into. It's very lightweight - maybe a pound, I would guess. It comes with a thicker threaded screw (I don't know the appropriate terminology) already tightened over the screw underneath. Remove the fatter screw by simply twisting it off and you'll see the skinnier screw underneath - this is the one that fits into the base of your camera. Some tips:-It's easy to leave this screwed into your camera and wear the camera on its straps around your neck-When angling the camera down using this tripod, position it so that one of the legs faces outward in front of the camera, to bear the weight of the camera and prevent the tripod from toppling over. If you position the camera so that it faces out in BETWEEN two of the legs and you angle it at all, the whole thing will probably topple over, as would be expected with the additional weight of the camera.-If a ball joint pops off, you can easily pop it back in place. No big deal.-Creating arc and curves in the legs is very helpful for getting the right angles-Easily wraps around things like balcony railings, tree branches, etc. Wrap two arms from one direction and the third from the opposite direction to provide balance.

it was a good thing the legs were still sturdy enough as I ...
Strapped this to a hiking backpack when I took this on a 3 night hike on the Appalachian trail. The nylon strap was wrapped right below the camera body, tightly around the joint of the flexipod if this matters. One of the legs popped out twice while on the trip, but closer to the end of the trip. Luckily, you could pop it right back in. Also, it was a good thing the legs were still sturdy enough as I held the camera in front of me and used it as a sort of vlogging camera. Also the camera never fully tightens to the tripod any more, It just continuously swivels. I guess it was due to the handling while out in the woods so this product won't keep up with your more than average usage. If you're planning to use this in a less extreme and rugged environment, it might work out for you. If you're trying to channel your inner Casey Neistat, invest in a more sturdier product.

Legs keep popping out of socket at the base
I really want to like this tripod, but every other time I attempt to adjust the legs, one of the legs will pop out of the socket from the base. When the leg stays in place, this tripod works really well for getting perfectly angled shots. I took this to New York, and having a small, light-weight flexible tripod I could stand on things, and angle just right, quickly was nice (except when myself or my girlfriend would struggle with a leg popping out, and attempting to pop it back into the socket which proved to be surprisingly difficult at first, but got easier the more it would pop-out)In all fairness, I likely might have simply gotten a defective product. The only place the joints popped out of socket was at the base.

Strong, durable, and versatile!
I'm pretty impressed with this! You can manipulate it into almost any angle or position. Even at the highest point (legs almost completely closed), it's stable enough to hold the weight of my large heavy camera. A few more tweaks would make it perfect! If it had a quick release plate, and if the camera base was more adjustable, it would be perfect! I have to leave my camera kind of loose because if I screw it down all the way, it's facing over one of the legs. I need it in between the legs for the photography I do (jewelry). So I can't screw it down tight, or I won't be able to get the right angle. But other then that, it's a great versatile tripod!

but unfortunately it behaves like a disjointed shoulder - after it happens once the ...
This tripod started out quite well - holding a full DSLR with sturdiness. But over a few weeks of regular use two things started up which made the tripod unusable and led to its return for a refund. The most serious one was that one of the legs slipped out at the junction socket. This was not from any large shock or force - it just slipped out while adjusting the legs. The leg can be pushed back into position, but unfortunately it behaves like a disjointed shoulder - after it happens once the tripod leg will then much more easily slip out again, making the tripod treacherous with a valuable camera. The second bad thing was that some of the the flexible leg segment joints started to slightly loosen up. While not a huge problem, it did lead to the legs slowly splaying when used on a smooth surface, which would change the positioning of the camera after a minute or two. I suggest the manufacturer work to remedy these flaws, because the tripod has the potential to be a good one.

Cool concept, but keep track of the small pieces
I love this, but lost a piece shortly after opening it because it wasn't attached.I was able to make-do without the small piece, but it just meant I had to keep track of the other small piece so I could screw the camera onto the tripod. I was able to wrap it's legs around a metal rod to take a group picture and it worked great! I would definitely suggest this if you want a lightweight tripod, but definitely remember that you'll need a higher up spot to set it (or wrap it around) so that the picture is at a good height.

It's solid!
I love that each individual notch of this tripod can be manipulated in order to cater to every photographer's needs.Sadly, the screw wasn't compatible with my Samsung NX300. I tried to find ways to configure the screw to work with my camera with no avail. The build and stability of the tripod is great. They are a little stiff which is good for holding up a large camera, but I am not sure how secure it would be if they need to be wrapped or manipulated around a pole or in some crazy direction.
