Best Easy Day Hikes Acadia National Park (Best Easy Day Hikes Series)

I bought this as a gift for family and when they got back this summer, the book looked well used, along with the waterproof map. They loved it because it was simple to read and understand and it's size allowed for an easy carry in pants or jacket pockets. It was reviewed each night at dinner in order to help plan the next days hike(s).

I would recommend this to anyone hiking with their family in Acadia. The title can however be a little deceiving because not all of the hikes are "easy" but it is a good guide none the less.

Pretty decent description of trails - I’ve had some for other day hikes that gives you elevation gain / loss diagrams that were useful tools that this one lacked. But no doubt it will get us through.

I decided to give a 5 stars rating to this book since it is a very useful, well documented and practical guide of the Acadia National Park. I would recommend it to all tourists that have a limited experience of hiking along with a relatively short stay in the park.
