Although the story ... - Came quickly and on mint condition. Although the story itself is a bit of a rip off...all the other related comic lines; Green Lantern, New Guardians and Red Lanterns all contain the same pages...which are also contained in the Wrath of the first lantern and Rise of the Third Army. This appeared to be the case for all volume 2 and volume 3s. Not the sellers fault though so remains a 5 star! Review: Fabulous! - Excellent graphic novell. The story line are great! The argument and art are amazing! I recommend!

A Green Lantern installment that is not to be missed!!
Featuring stunning artwork and filled to the brim with colour, this volume doesn't disappoint. This graphic novel has a compelling story and is exciting to follow. It proved to be an engaging tale of the characters of the Green Lantern mythos pulled to their extremes. The Guardians themselves are affected as well as other characters and this developed into a story of serious consequences. It caused the overall outlook for future stories to be keenly sought after.

I am writing the review for these three volumes because they seem really intended to be read together. If you don't, you will not get most of the story and the pacing will be terrible (be adviced that each collection includes GL 20, just in case). Now to the review proper: This final storyarch of the Geoff Johns era is absolutely amazing! Easily on the level of Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night, and even better than this last one. You have all the epic quality that you expect from Johns, great battle scenes and multiple color corps fighting together, but you also get a very well paced progression and really interesting character development (something that was a little missing in War of the Green Lanterns, for example). I was initially hesitant about the introduction of another earth Green Lanterrn, and I definetively don't like the outfit, but I really like how Simon Baz was introduced and how the comic explicitly comments on 11-9 aftermath. The story, for me, was a little lost between all the other things that were going on, but I really like the direction that the character is taking. What I like the most about this series is how it tides everything up. When I finished reading Blackest Night and War of the Green Lanterns, there was always some pretty evident hint that there were more things going on, that the arch was in some ways incomplete. Of course, that is something you need in comicbooks to get you interested in the next story, but finishing on a low note, like the War of the Green lanterns did, was definetivelly anti-clicmatic. This third volume(s) definetively give you a cinematic, emotional and in many ways happy ending (even a little cheesy, so be advised). This story is the perfect way to close Geoff Johns run on the title. You get to see all of the characters involved in the series during the last 10 years, and every main character gets enough "screen time" and love from the authors to show were are they standing now, how they have evolved thorugh the series and even get a glimpse of what the future hold for them. If you are a fan of any of earth's green lanterns there is something for you here. I have only a few minor (very, very minor) complaints about these three titles: 1) While in terms of story it is clear how frightening the third army is, this is not shown that much in the pictures (at least not at the level of Sinestro Crrops War or Blackest Night) 2) The first lantern is definetivelly more scaring, and I love how he messess with the mind of the lanterns (allowing for very personal explorations of the characters), but I would have liked to get more of his story and where he comes from 3) While they appear on some frames, I was missing more space for the minor members of the corps who have played a significant role in previous stories (particularly Soranik Natu). If you are a fan of Green Lantern and Geoff Johns, and you been following the different series since Green Lantern Rebirth this is definetively a must. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Green Lantern and other series in it's perview are all great works. Very enjoyable, fun and incredibly character driven arcs. Love how Guy Gardner is being used

This volume actually makes me like Guy Gardner as a character through his family, past, and his mistakes. I always hated Guy, but now I don't. I recommend this book if you want to like or learn about Guy Gardner

It was a good comic, but based mostly on Guy Gardner. I wanted more of Jon Stewart.
