A great purchase..

I purchased this lopper as a gift for an avid gardener. She had requested a bypass lopper and the description said this was " Bypass and Anvil". Apparently, a lopper can’t be both. She also said that many gardening tools have poorly worded descriptions making it difficult to know exactly what to buy. That said, she's quite pleased with the product and said she has many uses lined up for it.

The overall quality is good, but trying to extend the handles is awkward... They are definitely sharp & with a little muscle, they cut right through a 2 inch limb...

the unit doesn't stay locked while working.

handles don't lock, they slide when trying to cut no matter how hard you try to lock it in.

These loppers are exactly what I needed to cut back a shrub that had been slowly growing out of control... they cut with ease and are easy to handle ..
