There’s one deal breaker for me (updated review)
Anker’s Soundcore products sound amazing for the price. But I always seem to have some sort of issues with their earbuds. The first pair I owned and only one I’ve kept were the Spirit X’s. I need truly wireless now that I’m biking, so since I loved the sound of the Spirit X’s (and after trying the Liberty 2 Air’s and those not working out for me) I thought I couldn’t go wrong with a pair of earbuds in the Spirit product line. These do sound great. They don’t have as punchy of a bass that the Spirit X’s do, but it still is nice. The Spirit Dot 2’s are also comfortable. Not quite as comfortable as the X’s, but they don’t hurt my ears while inserted like the Liberty 2 Air’s did. I’ve read people didn’t like the touch controls on the Spirit Dot 2’s, but they haven’t been a problem for me, they work well. Now for the deal breaker. It cuts out for maybe about a half a second almost every song. Sometimes it’ll be once every few songs, but usually it’s once a song. I tried resetting the earbuds by tapping the earbuds while in the case 5 times till the lights turn red, but it didn’t fix the issue. There would be some other random sound issues like one would go out for a second while the other would be out for half a second. It’s just weird stuff like that and also while using them with Amazon app open, then closing out of it, the sound for stop for about 2 seconds, which isn’t much of an issue for me because I use them to work out or while I’m at work not using my phone except for music. I’ve also heard the humming noise once, but that was while no music was playing. But the main issue is the sound cutting out every song, so I’ll be returning these, possibly exchanging them for another paid since maybe this unit is just faulty, because otherwise these are great. FYI there isn’t noise cancellation, so I don’t know why there’s a review option for that. Update: Anker’s fantastic customer service reached out to me and sent me a replacement. I haven’t had cutout issues with it. I love it.

They are not perfect, but still very good earbuds
I am no audiophile or headphones/earbuds expert but I will give you my personal opinion in regards to different categories. Sound Quality The sound quality on these really depends. They have a lot of bass which I feel muffles out the mids and highs a bit. If you listen to rock music mainly, like myself, you are gonna have mixed feelings, some sound good, others are fine. Pretty much any other genre sounds amazing! Comfort and Fit They have a very snug fit which is great for working out, they don't move at all or come out. As far as comfort you get different sizes ear tips and wing to choose from on the box: XS, S, L and XL. They come preinstall with the 'medium' size. Like others have mention the wing does comes off partially when you take them off and you have to put it back in place everytime, a bit annoying. Controls (I have Android) You get the following by double tapping: play/pause on the right, skip to next song on the left. There is no volume control or previous song but you can access the assistance by holding either left or right for 2 seconds, and with that you can basically ask the assistant to increase/decrease volume or play previous song or just play anything you want. You can also answer/cancel calls by double tapping and holding respectively. (I have not yet tested this) When you are using it in single mode (only one of the earbuds either left or right) the only controls you get are play/pause and assistant. Controls are touch, not actual physical buttons. Mic Quality I have really only tested this with one call while I was at the grocery store and mic quality is okish my friend said he heard a lot of the background noise even though it was not super noisy but he could still hear my voice and understand me which I guess is ok. I was not expecting anything great of the mic quality and this was not really the reason I purchase this. Connection I have not experience any delays when playing videos or anything similar. At first getting them paired and working was a bit strange I did had to reset them about two times to get them to pair fine. I followed the instructions included and they have been working fine since. Overall I would say this are really good earbuds if you are looking something for working out and your main concern is them moving/falling off. Sound quality is great in pretty much everything, except on certain subgenres of rock. I like the controls and getting access to the assistant as that gives me the ability to do pretty much everything.

Great Quality!
I've had these for about 2 years or so now, and they are still just as nice as when I first got them! The sound quality has not dimished. The case is pretty durable, I've dropped this case with the earbuds in them a number of times and they are still in perfect working order. Super light weight and I have forgotten that i actually had one in my ear from them being so comfortable. They charge quickly and hold a charge on the case for a super long time. Went 6 months without using them at all and the case still had 1/2 charge! I recommend these as they are a great value for the price I paid for them!

Absolutely great headphones - not just for workout
I was super intrigued when I saw these offered from Soundcore because of just how small they are. These are literally less bulky than airpods, and sound better. The bass is of course good as they advertise, but the rest of the sound is pretty decent as well. For reference I also own Sony's high-end true wireless WF-1000XM3. These don't sound as good as those, as you would expect from the massive price difference, but those are much larger and with much more tech (noise cancelling). For the size and price these really are good. The battery life is decent - good enough to get through any workout and honestly to use all day as long as the case is charged up. Since these are marketed as workout headphones they definitely have made it through each one I've used them for. I'm not going to test their water resistance or anything but they're still working fine and they stay nice and snug in your ear even when moving around a lot thanks to the little fins. One more thing - the case fits in a jean coin pocket. Other than these the only ones I know that can do that are airpods and airpods pro (though I'm sure there are some others). Anyways - to summarize - these are great for the money and I'm really enjoying them.

Hi guys. So I got the dot2. And there not to bad. So let me talk about the positive things. 1-good bass not bad. Not thunderous as they claim on the box but it’s not bad 2-call quality is not bad decent. Cons: 1- the fit is not great. They hurt after 20 mins in your ear which is bad. I mean it hurts cause the fins go toward the cartilage side. So it’s painful. I had to remove it. Then put it back on after the pain went away. 2- you can’t use these with the Soundcore app so that doesn’t help. 3- the sound isn’t that great. Bass is there but not clear bass. And the kids are kinda drowned out by the bass. Highs are okay. They do look nice. But the pain it causes I didn’t like. Sound is just average. Bass is good but kinda muddy. The Monster clarity 100’s are better sound and bass. A lot of bass in those and the fit is great and it’s cheaper. Update. Looks like I had a faulty set. Anker contacted me and sent me another one. It works great. So problem is fixed. Great Bass. Very loud. If your a bass head you will love this. And the call quality is actually really good. Great stuff Anker

I ordered these as I was looking for Bluetooth earbuds that didn't fall out when walking or turning my head. Having had limited success with a much cheaper pair of bulkier in-ear with an add on over ear attachments, I wanted to go to a comfortable secure level at a price that didn't break the bank. The fit is very good and there is a choice of buds and airwings to choose from to help get the best fit. Removing the earbud(s) from the box, turns the earbud(s) on, and in reverse putting it back in the box turns it off (you can press and hold to do it manually) - each earbud from what I can tell has a slightly different function when pressed in a certain way (instructions included). They work separately so depending what I am doing will depend on which one I put in and which has charge. I mainly use them one at a time whilst working round the house (either), walking the dog (right ear to remove road noise), on the sofa whilst I semi-watch TV with the family and listen with one ear to other things (left ear). The charging box is well made. Keeps the earbuds safe and secure whilst charging. the box is not required to be with you whilst listening with one or both earbuds. LEDs on the front of the box give an indication of how much charge the box has remaining. Charges with a phone charger and USB-C cable. Range from earbud to phone for me (Oneplus 6T) has been impressive. Whilst the image suggests keeping it on body, which I do with a mid-thigh height pocket, having the phone the other side of the room still gives uninterrupted connection. I haven't exercised in them yet aside from general walking. Wearing both in at once and walking does lead to the feeling/vibration/sound of your own feet hitting the floor, however I believe is seemingly present in all ear canal covering earphones and presume to do with air flow/pressure?! (I don't have the volume more than half way on the phone and tend to listen to podcasts more than music.) This product had 3 x 5 star reviews when I ordered it (Mid-Late June). Delivery time was 7-10 days, it arrived 2 days after I ordered it. When compared with the other brands that generally cost more and had hundreds of 4+ star reviews, I wasn't sure how new to market these were. The quality is great (by my standards), the price point is good, functionality is as you might expect (they play good quality sounds without falling out of your ears), they are easy to pair, and look stylish and some would say, discreet - I would highly recommend.
