This dress is great for a simple Regency style. I'm in between a 10-12 in normal clothing sizes and originally bought the Large. It was swimming on me. The Medium was out of stock so I crossed my fingers and bought the small. Glad I did! The small fits me perfectly. My bra is a 32E and I have a 34 in waist. Since this is an empire cut, on the size chart, the "waist" refers to the empire waist not a true waist. Knowing that now, reading the size chart closer to your bra size should help future buyers to figure out what size to buy. Fabric is comfortable. There is a hidden side zipper. The buttons on the back may need reinforcing as one of them popped off the first time I tried it on. I'm 5'6" and it is too long on me and will need to be hemmed. I love that! Most store bought maxi dresses aren't long enough, so it's nice to have something too long for a change! I plan to embellish this dress and make it a bit more custom but it is lovely all on its own.

As most people stated, it runs a bit large and long. It’s not as beautiful as a true Regency dress but there’s no shortage of fabric and it will do until I have my muslin one made. If you are looking for something for a costume party, a one time thing, this will certainly do! Just make sure you have enough time to ajust the hem, unless you’re very tall!

I purchased this on 4/14/22 and it arrived today, 4/20/22.Pros: Color is perfect, material is nice / breathable. Perfect for regency era parties (I’m looking at you, Bridgerton).Cons: Arrived dirty and sizing is definitely…interesting. Definitely double or triple check the measurements against your own.For reference - I am 5’4, 280 lbs, 42B and ordered a 3X. The dress came to my ankles which I felt was too short, I was expecting it to be longer (could be my mistake). Elastic in the waist (empire) made it feel like it fit in the bust but the buttons were about to pop in the back. The arms weren’t tight at all though.Super cute and fun idea, I would say buy with caution. Will be returning.

Just received this dress, it's very beautiful, but fit is inconsistent: sleeves are super tight, bust is very generous (too loose) and a button fell off when I lifted the dress up from the wrappers. For the price - this is not worth it. For $20 bucks - this would be a great option. If it's on sale for $20 or less when you read this - buy it, if not - run for the hills and buy a dress with substance.

The dress was just as pictured and arrived quickly. The color and fabric are lovely. I normally wear a size large, which wasn’t available so I got size XL. It was very big, but fortunately it works well with the regency style to wear a sash below the bust so I made my own sash. I had to take 6” off the length.

Was surprised how beautiful (the blue has some sheen) and solid the material is for this dress at this price and that it had an underskirt as well. I had to shorten it some, but it's going to be perfect for the event I got it for.

Made very well with sturdy fabric came plain and was easy to add embelishments. Very long so be prepared to hem it.

I got an Extra Large and was nervous it would be too big for me; I’m usually small/medium. It fits perfectly, and it’s very well made. Very happy!
