This has been in almost daily use for about 3 months by a patient who heals slowly. The boot has proven to be very sturdily sewn of materials that wash well and air dry without becoming hard. The patient's foot is well-protected and bandages are stabilized in place. It initially seemed overpriced to me, but after being washed 2 or 3 times a week without deterioration and maintaining its "plushness" after 3 months of constant use by a heavy person, I'm beginning to think the quality justifies the price. For reference if you are considering the bariatric size - the patient in this case is 6 foot 10 inches and about 350 pounds with a size 16 men's shoe. He often has a very swollen ankle and the straps on the boot are long enough to securely close the boot without putting harmful compression on the ankle. The lower strap can be looped through one of two differently positioned loops which provides some variation for different needs.

Purchased this for my 90 year old father who has wounds on his heels that can have no pressure on them. We narrowed the problem down to "schooching" around in bed at night. These keep the heels from contacting ANY pressure source. He's found them comfortable. The wounds are heeling so, everyone is happy! Well made product; easy clean; adjustable fit.

Velcro straps do not hold well.

This is comfortable, I wear it while I'm sleeping with an ice boot on my foot.The four stars is because it needs a third strap, the two straps isn't enough to keep it on when limping to the bathroom at night. I recommend.

The boot works perfectly! I would recommend to people that are bed ridden or have high risk of pressure ulcers on their heel. The only thing that was an issue for us is the boot is kinda heavy and the foot tends to fall from sideways easily. But other then that works great!
