My son kept asking for a pirate ship for Christmas and this one met all the requirements! Easy to put together, sturdy, and so adorable. My 4 years old loves it!!

When it arrived, I freaked out because it was a box with a bunch of wooden parts and some bolts and screws and directions. After unpacking it on my dining room table i discovered it was relatively easy to put together, kind of like a puzzle. I’m a 62 year old gramma, and had no problem whatsoever you just need a Phillips head screwdriver. The pirate ship is incredibly cute, very sturdy and well-made. My four year old grandson is going to absolutely love it on Christmas morning!

We bought this for our 3 1/2 yr old for Christmas. Reviews are spot on. Takes about 30 minutes to assemble, feels daunting when you see all the parts, but is easy to put together. It’s large, has great accessories - love that the treasure chest and cannon lights up and makes noise. It’s also great that it opens to additional play. We got it on sale, which made it even more worth it. Would definitely recommend!

This is a great item. I’m really impressed with the quality of this ship. It’s actually wood not plastic. The treasure chest and cannons light up and make noise. The pirates are made of almost like rubber. It wasn’t hard to assemble. All the pieces of it at first are a little overwhelming but everything is labeled and me and my husband were able to assemble it in about 30 mins. I 💯 recommend this. My 5 year and twin 3 year olds have been playing with it for over a hour now!

My four year old grandson discovered this pirate ship at the local library and he loved playing with it, thus a Christmas present. While the ship comes completely unassembled, the instructions are easy enough to follow and is not very difficult to assemble if you take your time. Prior to purchasing this ship I noted that several Amazon reviewers commented on missing or broken pieces upon arrival. I asked previous purchasers if they experienced any difficulty in obtaining replacement parts for the missing or broken pieces, but after several days there were no responses. My order arrived with all pieces accounted for, but the ship's steering wheel had been broken in shipping. I followed the KidKraft instructions to remedy such a situation, entered the website provided, filled out the relevant information and submitted the request for a replacement part. Very happily four days later the new part was at my door. The ship seems sturdy enough and well made, customer service was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend this purchase to anyone interested.

Awesome toy! My only issue is that most of the pieces came scratched up right out of the box.

The ship was simple to assemble due to its very easy-to-follow instructions and carefully labeled parts. The nautical details on the inside and outside of the ship help make the ship look more realistic and interesting to kids. Additional pieces, including the pirate figurines, cannon, barrels, and treasure chest help to complete the pirate ship play set. The set seems like it will be sturdy enough to last through a lot of play by young kids, but it's too soon to tell just how durable it will be.

The pirate ship was bigger than I thought it would be and I bought some treasure chests with jewels and deblumes to go with it. The ship came with a cannon that shoots and a tiny treasure chest that lights up. It did take some time to put it together - my engineer son-in-law and his 11 year old son spent some time doing it. I'm glad I didn't have to. We sat the ship on a little table with blue silks for water. It was the best gift ever! I bought it on black Friday so saved some $$.They had just come to Michigan this summer from the west coast, and we went to Mackinac Island, where there was a real (that floated and went to the island) pirate ship, and some props on the dock with treasure chest, photo ops, etc. so he was all pumped up about that.I'm thinking this would be a good gift for kids interested in pirates, but maybe not just a general gift. It is large and takes up some space with other toys. I liked it way better than I thought I would.
