Really nice replacement for OEM Backup/Cargo Lamp. Quality construction and easy to install. Kit contained 2 foam seals which is nice in case one gets messed during installation. The LED Brake / Cargo Lights were definite improvement to OEM light. Much brighter and better illumination of Cargo Bed when unloading at night.

02 ext cab Silverado 1500 z71. Fit identical to OEM light. Foam gasket provided was adequately thick and compressed well, I don’t anticipate any leakage. Came with small rubber gaskets to seal the screws as well. A resistor is prewired into the light so the lower amps of the LED won’t affect the cruise control. The light works great and is much brighter than the OEM halogen lights. Even looks nice during the day as the chrome reflectors for the cargo lamps really glisten in the sun. Definitely a nice little touch to an older truck.

Fit: Screwed right into my 2000 Chevy Silverado no issues whatsoever! Wiring: Plugs straight into the factory wiring harness. Functionality: The bulbs are incredibly bright! After 2+ years of having them installed they all still work and are as bright as ever. Quality: Feels a bit cheap in the hands but looks more than fine and does a superb job, especially for the price.

First of all, the reviews for this item that complain about fit are either from trolls or from buyers who were expecting something that would save them from their past blunders - enough said about that. The details....this light fits my 2005 Silverado 2500HD perfectly. The gasket is amply thick and the screw gaskets fit fine as well. The key (as in everything) is preparation. If you're not willing to clean up the recess on your truck no amount of gasket is going to seal the hole up. My cab's metal is in new condition so I just had to spend a few minutes ensuring old debris and gasket material were totally removed. No sealant required and I have a factory tight seal. As for the brightness, that too is very nice. If I had wanted a blow torch I would have bought one. Can't speak for the luddites out there who expect miracles, but the brightness of this unit is far superior to the factory incandescent unit. The cargo lights are nice and bright as well so you can safely ignore the whiners who want their precious world to be perfect. Overall, no regrets - buy with confidence.

This replaced my damaged brake light. Was easy to replace with 2 screws and the same wire connection already on the truck. Came with a supplied gasket, make sure you clean the truck side surface to help prevent leaks into the cab headliner which is a common issue even with factory lights.

Fit and looks pretty good. Comes with gasket I just added a little RTv silicone to help prevent water from leaking through.

Was looking for a good replacement for my 2006 Silverado 2500 LBZ and this seemed like a good place to start. I would not say it's made as well as the original part, but it also didn't cost as much as an OM part. Definitely brighter than original, and the bed light is far brighter. So far it's worked flawlessly and has not fogged up even though it stays outside 24/7 - no garage. Honestly takes about 20 minutes to replace with a little bit of DIY skill.

Had this for the past 8 months, when I originally put it on found there was a leak even with the new gasket , I put a thin layer of silicon around and been great ever since very bright aswell.
