I was a bit disappointed when I opened this, but soon changed my mind. This is a delightful little book constructed from beautiful paper and a joy to look at. It has colours listed by month, but there is far more to it. There are lots of gorgeous colour palettes to inspire you and they have even included sticky colour tabs at the back to stick onto your page. I think the colours are very similar to the Kuretake paints, which I have. I will use this a lot.

This is an excellent item for helping with colour matching, both complementary colours and contrasting colours for designs. The cut out colours at the back enable you to create your own colour schemes inspired by the information in the dictionary. Thoroughly recommended.

ok but does not include decoration and difficult to navigate as its in the japanese taste

What a beautiful second edition account of colours and the way they may be presented in every day objects and materials. A truly remarkable set of combinations in a sort of manifest any sort of artist or designer in any single capacity could find useful, interesting, or at minimum, inspiring. Highly recommend this and the first edition.
