I’ve compared SPLF to another leading non-plastic bag brand but these are my personal favorites. I clean them by hand with a dish brush and dish soap and so far are lasting just fine. This brand closes fairly easily and keeps its shape. Now we are using primarily SPLF bags as opposed to throw away plastic ziplock bags, in the long run saving money. These bags are non-toxic and sturdy. I highly recommend them as an alternative to throw away storage bags. Here’s my “now storage bag drawer”, no throw away bags! 95% SPLF bags!!!

These bags are great!! I'm new to freezing meals the RIGHT way because of these bagsI love the size even though I only freeze meals for 2 in the gallon bags. They seal properly, function well, are so easy to store in the freezer. The frosty color is great because I can easily read the labels I attach to the bags. I don't have a dishwasher, and hand washing them is easy. I'm sure I will only use these bags for freezing foods!

These freezer bags are seriously high quality—thick, durable, and feel like they’ll last forever. I’ve used them for everything from freezing fruit to storing leftovers, and they’ve held up beautifully without leaks or weird smells. That said… the closure is no joke. It seals tight—which is great for keeping things fresh, but less great when you’re trying to pry it back open with one hand while wrangling a toddler or slippery ingredients. I’ve definitely had to do the freezer bag version of a tug-of-war a few times. Still, I’d rather it be too strong than too flimsy. If you don’t mind a little extra muscle to open it, these are an awesome eco-friendly upgrade to single-use bags.

We bought these in an effort to reduce our waste with kids lunches and school snacks. We were concerned though about them potentially smelling like something in no that had been stored in them for a day or more. Well they do not retain the smell of anything we have used them for thus far. This has included eggs, croutons, flavored snacks like goldfish and pretzels, etc. we simply hand wash them and hang them upside down in the dish rack. They are great.

I absolutely love these. I use these for my dogs homemade food, which I make in big batches and then I stick it in the freezer until I’m ready to use and then I put it in my fridge to thaw when I’m ready to use it and I absolutely love this so much better than the normal in the box Ziploc bags which even if they are for freezer always end up with freezer burn on my stuff so these were great no freezer burn and the food comes out as if when I just put it in so I would highly recommend these, especially for people that are looking to make homemade food for their dogs, but also for any other food that your family wants to put in there I’ve put crackers and all kinds of other stuff. These are awesome and easy to wash and clean out . they close easy without any problems and they seem to be leakproof, which I love.

These silicon storage bags are well made and keep food sealed. I plan to give a set of each sized bags to a couple of people for Christmas gifts so they can try them out. I will definitely order these again. The only thing I would like is a little more room at the bottom since these are a little flat in design.

Overall: This product would work great for individuals looking for PEVA reusable storage bags with limited fridge, countertop, and sink space, as the bags are able to fit into small spaces with more ease than a Tupperware container for certain items. For instance, diced bell peppers or diced onions. These bags are suitable for individuals willing to hand-wash the bags and not expose its to heated--avoid putting these bags in the microwave, hand washing in hot water, or running the bags through a dishwasher. These bags are truly leakproof and I have never had an issue in that regard :) If these bags were could withstand a higher temperature before melting in my dishwasher and didn't hold smells and colors as easily, I would buy them again. These reusable storage bags retain certain smells and colors, making it difficult to clean and store other items in it. When I first bought these bags, I stored all types of ingredients and foods in them: diced onions, minced garlic, marinating tuna steaks, ginger, homemade spaghetti sauce, and homemade salsa. I quickly learned that the smell of stronger ingredients such as spaghetti sauce or fish usually stay in the bag after washing it out, and the coloring of your food could also stain these bags. After forgetting about some old spinach in one of these bags, my bag turned permanently green despite multiple soaks and washes. This has also been the case with salsa and spaghetti sauce. To get rid of the smell, I have to soak the bags in dish soap and water for a day or two, then scrub and rinse out the remaining smell. I repeat this process until the smell leaves the bag. I have not found a way to remove the color. In addition, these bags are NOT made out of "extra thick leak proof silicone", as the title says. Instead, in the description you will find that it is actually made out of "food-grade PEVA material" which is a type of plastic. Not all PEVA bags are created equal, though. This one in particular can only be WASHED BY HAND because it cannot withstand heat. I have learned the hard way that these bags are NOT dishwasher safe, let alone microwavable. Overall, I'm disappointed that I fell for a product that advertised itself as silicone when it was not, and should have read the description before buying and using these products. But these products may work well for someone else!

The fact that I have several sizes was a bonus. I used several of them right away and found that they wash well with soap and hot water or in the dishwasher. So easy and made of a sturdy silicone material.

I have used these types of bags for years for my freezer. I purchased this size specifically for grated cheese as I do a couple of blocks/bricks at a time to store in the freezer. The size is perfect and the quality of the seal is impressive. I would absolutely purchase again IF required pro tip... use a chalk writer to label the contents. It does not smudge or stain and easily wipes off before you wash the bag.
