Good value, but not perfect
I got these for work and for riding motorcycle. My engineer boots work good for riding but not so good for work on the days I gotta do a lot of walking. I got tactical boots for walking at work but they're not so good for riding; the shifter crushed the toe of the boot.My feet are 7 1/2 W. There aren't many options in mens boots this size. I usually end up buying size 8. I was glad to find these in 7 1/2 W.But they are a little big. Just a tiny bit to long, a bit more to wide. They are stiff - which I hope means they are built to last a long time. Another reviewer thought they are hard to lace tightly; I think it's because of how stiff they are. This is more of an issue for me because they are a bit big. They are little hard to lace because the top hooks are kinda small.I took off a star because: they are a bit big, a bit hard to lace up (despite having 'speed' laces) and also because they are very warm. It's got to be because of the waterproof membrane. They'll be nice this winter, but I'll be shopping for another pair of boots for next summer. They are a good value.

Been buying these for the last 10 years.
These boots perform every way advertised. I severely abuse them with abrasion, water, freezing, chemicals, cement, etc. They last 2 years before some stitching comes loose on the upper and let's water in. Other than that these could last much longer for a moderate user. BTW the laces last FOREVER, seriously.

Composite toe is the way to go
These are some good work boots. All though I had to break them in for about 4 days. I am ok with this. The price of this boot speaks all. As I have spent a lot of money on boots in the past. I am on my feet all day walking on concrete rocks uneven surfaces and climbing up and down trucks. I recommend this work boot to all. I do suggest you buy 2 pair and alternate wearing them every other day. I have found this to be effective in the life of my work boots. I will buy these boots again when needed. Oh yes these work boots are light weight and comfortable. Composite toe is the way to go.

Sizes run a little big. But best work boots for chemicals.
I wear these every workday. I have had a size 10 which I wear in most shoes however they were a little big. I purchased what I thought were 9.5 but I accidentally ordered 9 and they are a little snug. I kept them because I was needing them. My next pair will be 9.5. But these boots take a beating and wear really well. I work around a lot of chemicals and these are the only boots that last a decent amount of time. They are ready to go straight out of the box.

Great boot for work
This boot is durable and holds up to lots of traipsing. First pair lasted 2 years before getting too worn and I enjoyed them so much I'm on my second pair now. The waterproofing really works and will keep your feet dry. (From outside water anyway, the waterproofing also keeps it from breathing so your feet will sweat in them, but much rather that than soaked from rain.) The bottom sole is durable and handles lots of rough surfaces. The inside sole could be a little better but stick some Dr. Scholls inserts in them and you're good to go.

There is a knot in the sole of the foot that is making one of my son in laws toes hurt
Overall it's a good boot but there is a lump under one of the toes that is hurting really bad, for the money it should not need an insole to protect the feet from this type of knot

First time I repeated a safety shoe purchase
I am required to wear safety shoes at work, despite not really having a true need for them - it's not a construction site. Every year I get a stipend to purchase shoes and I have bought a different pair every year. This is the first time I have bought the same shoe. The shoe is fairly comfortable and is quite durable (for a person that works in electronics anyway).

Lighter than I expected.
As the title says these boots, which are WELL padded and insulated, are a lot lighter than I would have expected. The only slight niggle is the height of the ankle padding and the toe area. I am still breaking them in and the stiffening material around the ankle is rubbing just below the ankle bone. The toe area is large and you will definitely have extra wiggle room.
