An interesting read but…
The book details some of the aspects of interrogation techniques that can be informative although illegal in most circumstances. On a very negative side, the book contains redactions which are understandable but should have been mentioned clearly in the book’s description! Anyone who has ever had a security clearance understands the necessity to redact certain information but the failure to inform the purchaser of the level of redaction damages the content of the book.

Good beginning.
Very elementary for the beginner, but don't try it without a mentor to train you or you could get hurt. I bought this to see what he was telling people. Really doing imterrogations is a whole different ball game.

How to know what they know
Whether you are interviewing a terrorist, a janitor who might be an industrial spy, or a potential employee from a competitor, this book has valuable information for you to think about in structuring that interview. The most important message from this book is that you don't get good information by threatening or torturing people! People will make up anything under duress to make it end, and will then be highly motivated to lie so as to defeat your goals afterwards. The CIA, Mossad, and many other services know that, and have better, more respectable methods of interviewing people and assessing the truthfulness and value of what they are told. The best information always comes from people who respect you. That is what this book is about, how to classify sources and interview people to get good information by getting that respect even under trying circumstances.

Ehhhh!
OverSized and most of the important info is redacted...so it’s up to you. It’s a decent read but I’ve seen better options for information

It's OK . . . . . .
but most guys know all this already. This book is just a rehash of basic interrogation training.

Disappointing format
This document is basically unreadable on my Kindle. It's just an image of typewritten pages from 1963. I'd like to read it, and the content looks sound, but this format isn't working for me.
