We formulated Rescue Balm as a water-free treatment to provide the cleanest and most highly-concentrated solution possible. This means immediate relief from the irritating symptoms of vulvar dryness and long-lasting protection, but the thick texture can make it a bit tricky to get out of the tube - it's worth it, we promise! We considered using a jar for exactly this reason, but we're sticklers on hygiene when it comes to sweet spots and didn't want anyone to have to put their fingers in the product. We find it helpful to unscrew the outer cap to take advantage of the larger opening underneath.
