Heartbreakingly beautiful š
If I could rate this book more than 5 stars, I blooming well would. This was an AMAZING read and my last read of 2022. It also has made my top reads for this year as well! Truly amazing. You had me crying my eyes around the 89% mark, was NOT expecting that but you definitely made up for it.This book held me captive from the first chapter. Easton and Dakota were amazing characters and I really felt their love for each other. This story had me in my feelings so damn much. I couldn't get enough. They both went through so much after the losses they suffered and the obstacles in their way but I am so glad they the got most deserved HEA.Bravo!!Absolutely would have loved a story on Hope and Roman.

Good book
It is a good book, the narrative, the characters it's all there..but, i couldnt help but feel like I needed it to go a bit faster, not because it was slow, but more because they were going round in circles about their feelings, just in different ways at different times so it seemed like a new scene but it was just kind of repetitive. I also feel like the Quinn thing was strange, i mean I kind of get the reasoning behind his going along with it, but for 6 years?! With such an intense love for kota? It just didn't simmer with their intensity as a couple although it made an interesting back story. I say this because his feelings were well portrayed and believable to a point I just couldn't fathom it and i think its a struggle for an author to make sense of and tie up a loose end like that. In a way we can accept and understand at least. I think thats why im glad it didn't jump to the past too much, i didnt want to get Attatched to Quinn but from reading between the lines, she manipulated that situation knowing full well what she was doing, i thought that might be explored but it wasn't so thats in part the reasoning for lesser stars. Also there was a point in the last flashback that made it seem like he was going to break up with her that night that never got tied up, so it felt like there was things that got swapped away. Having said all that, it still is a decent book if your looking for something to read.

A really slow best friends to lovers
This was a slow read that took its time to unravel and by the time you get the whole plot you think really? Is that it? For me the story line was a little weak but what made it plausible was in how the author padded it out with emotion, angst and so much raw chemistry between the two main leads Easton & Dakota that you can literally feel their connection sizzling off the pages. However, this was also a love triangle because while Easton was crazy for Dakota, his actual girlfriend is Quinn, Dakotaās sister. But do we get any any insight into the relationship between Easton & Quinn? Nope we donāt because the author made the story all about Easton & Dakota who have been best friends since were little. And what with the reason of why they couldnāt be together in the first place it was just a little messed up and didnāt feel like a well rounded story.I also got a little bored with it half way through because once we knew the back story nothing much seemed to be happening. Then they get caught sneaking around to be together and things move swiftly on from there, but the to-ing and fro-ing between the two was giving me whiplash!I felt that the author padded the book out a bit too much when she could have given it more weight by giving us an insight into Easton and Quinnās relationship and how that featured. This was a 3 star read for me.

This Book Left Me With Mixed Feelings
I'm left with mixed feelings about this book. I loved Easton and Dakota together, but hated the relationship between Easton and Quinn because it felt like Quinn manipulated everyone to get what she wanted. Easton should've grown a pair and spoke up about which sister he wanted. I also really disliked Quinn who was very spoilt and selfish. I feel nobody remembered the way she treated Dakota at times and I hated how Dakota felt so much guilt even though she never did anything wrong. There's also some confusion about how serious the relationship became between Easton and Quinn because we aren't told much. This is a book that you'll have to read and make up your own mind about

An Entertaining Read.
Thankfully, this book was really well written because I find it so frustrating when an entire story is based on the main characters' failure to communicate. You had 74 different chances to say how you felt!!Oh, and then BOOM! Page 350. There's plot twists...then there's pure unnecessary evil LOL. Anyway, I enjoyed the book despite me continuously shouting in my head "JUST SAY IT!!" šš

Wowzers
I received an ARC of this book and dived in with anticipation of another great Victoria Ashley book. This book did not disappoint. A story full of love, heartbreak, friendship, misunderstanding and the odd punch up. This was a laugh out loud one moment and sobbing the next. It plays on your emotions but I loved it. A fabulous story. Well written Ms Ashley, can we have Roman and Hope's story next, please

A new author for me. Oh my god!!!! You always wonder if people tell the truth when they say they felt everything. I can honestly, hand on heart tell you that with this book you do.
