This one worked with no problem. No setup, just install batteries and use like yo did before

The pause button on the remote control that came with my Samsung Smart TV stopped working after my son got some of his ice cream on it. I went on the Samsung website to order a replacement and this was one that was recommended. I was surprised at how basic and different it looked than the sleek silver one was that came with the TV, but this one works perfectly and was super easy to connect to the TV. It is also easier to find since it's larger. I'm giving this 5 stars because it does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it's a very fair price.

This remote is much better to use than the one supplied with the Samsung TV.

As soon as I put the batteries in, I hit the power button and Voila. Almost all buttons worked except the A B C D buttons at the bottom, when I pressed them a note popped up (not available) but I never used them on the original remote anyways. Also, I don't remember a tool button on the original remote, but that one did nothing also. It feels different too, like not as heavy. That being said, I'm totally satisfied.

Replacement remote works like the original one that came with tv.

It does what it's designed for, but buttons are very stiff even after months of use.
