I love these clips!!! I can’t believe what a find! They look so much better than their image! These are both functional and fashionable as far as duck billed clips go. I purchased the 6-pack of earth tone/neutral colors (2 apricot+2 coffee+2 orange) so they would go nicely with everything. It’s a simple design and a solid build. The bottom part of the clip is metal and top part is either plastic or silicone, but the finish is unique. It’s a matte finish that has an almost satin look to it which gives it a luxe look making them fashionable as well as functional. They have anti-slip finger grips, strong springs, good tension and a good grip which is what I need to hold or shape my thick hair. The elastic bands protect from slipping, getting snag or getting pulled (*there are two extra in the box). The clips are definitely comfortable and with less tension on the scalp/hair than my claw clips when worn over 10 hours. No tension headache!!! Stylish enough to pass as barrettes, and strong enough to hold my strands in place on a windy day looking for plants at the local nursery or getting my 5,000 steps in on the trail! -Been there, done that. The clips also excel at sectioning hair while blow drying, highlighting (w/ and w/o foil), styling, and of course holding your hair back when applying makeup/facials. They’re long & sturdy enough to help hold those ‘self grip’ curlers in place (should you need). Overall, 5 stars! Great value, salon quality and durable. Will update if any changes.

I got these to make trimming and styling my hair easier. The clips are great - strong and long enough to hold good sections of hair. The silicon bands keep them from slipping and it's nice there are spare bands. I just wish they came with something like a clear plastic snap case, instead of a flat plastic tray in a flat black cardboard box. Pulling out the tray to get to the clips and then fitting them back in the tray and closing the box flap to store them every time is tedious.
