The glazing worked well. It was just the right consistency to apply with just a putty knife.

My hardware store did not even carry this. Works like it should, I used the points first to secure the glass to an old window fame in an old garden shed. However, I am so glad that modern windows are maintenance free!

I had a job rebuilding an upstairs window that I had to remove. I needed a glaze that could be painted right away. It cant be rolled into ropes like dap33 but must be worked in with putty knife like the sarco glaze. I found that i didnt need to use any min spirits to smooth the glaze except trouble spots. I tooled the glaze to look decent and the next day used my finger to smooth out any rough spots. The glaze does not have to dry to paint with an oil based baint, but it needs to firm up enough to withstand the pressure of the paintbrush (2) days was ideal for me. Oil based paint is necessary because the glaze is far from cured at that stage, and oil based paint will skin over to allow handeling but still remain uncured so that the glaze underneath will dry . About 24 hours after I applied the paint I was able to handle the window. The glaze is still soft but you dont have to touch the glaze to install

Stays flexible and it is ready to paint. Easy to apply especially with a glazing tool.
