Q: Are the lids dishwasher safe?

Yes, they are definitely and clearly claimed to be. However, we use ours in a summer house where we do not have a dishwasher, so I am quoting the Manufacturer, not speaking from personal experience.

Q: Can you put the lid in the oven

No the lids are plastic. I like the containers very much. They are strong and sturdy. They're useful in the fridge and freezer. I use them in the oven uncovered or with foil on top.
