Treedix OV2640 Camera Module 140 Degree Wide Angle CMOS 2MP Camera Mini Camera Module

This OV2640 camera will replace camera in the ESP32-CAM directly, with no changes. Biggest advantage is that the Landscape view you get from the stock cameras that come on ESP32-CAMs will be Portrait view on this one. The lens is glued in place, but the focus is OK. So if you are wanting to be able to have your module mounted with SD card slot UP, this will do the trick. As to IR CUT, check the last picture in the listing, it has cable pinout plus other info there. I am not thru putting this thru the paces, but so far I’ve only found good features. By the way this isn’t a fish eye camera, the sides of view aren’t curved, you just see more depth in view. Even at 30+ feet objects are clear. This is a great find.

I used it for an Esp32 Wrover Cam, and i didint had to make modifications to the code, i just replaced the camera and reset it. Anyways, the camera had a slight fish-eye effect, which was a little bit sad, because i is a very useful module.

But keep in mind that it does not include an IR filter....

I got one, and it had green artifcat lines. Second one, nothing but a glitch cam. I am going to blame the packing on this one. It comes in a plastic baggy, and not a case. Ribbon cable came all bent, and I assume because there is no protection for it.

Update: After receiving a broken camera, I purchased another. This second camera worked without any code or wiring modifications.

Direct replacement for esp32-cam, but corrupted image

Nice wide field of view. I'm using this as a replacement for the AI Thinker type esp32 module camera. Running Tasmota, it's just plug and play.

XIAO ESP32S3 (Sense)のカメラの画角が狭かったので、広角レンズに交換できないかと挑戦。 ソースコードも変更することなく使用できた。 ただしカメラのイメージセンサ部とレンズ部の接着が甘いので、取り扱いには気を付けるか追加で接着してあげるといいかも。
