so far so great...easy to configure it works flawlessly minus one thing*, setup is easy using our samsung phones just going to smartview and clicking on it. this is our 2nd similar product same cost and all but that one quit working after a month of use or so, it drops the smartview signal after just a fews seconds , out of nowhere it starting doing it like mentioned after a month, rated it 1 star. this product the only very minor thing* we found out is when using our roku remote for our (sonos surround sound speakers) connected to our 4k sony tv the stream starts to pixilate and stutter, easy fix just adjusted speakers to a high volume and control audio outfrom from stream of phone anyways, so the roku remote has the batteries removed to eliminate the pixelation- if not when remote has batteries in it and close proximity to phone it messes up the signal and also when pressing volume up/down. our roku isn't connected anymore to tv since we don't have wifi/internet here - only our phones, that's why this products really helps to easily stream movies to tv once again. if this product fails like our first one did, we will update with 1 star and mention here...

False advertisement!! They SAY it works with Windows 7-10....Ummm NOPE! Installed the devise on my TV. NO PROBLEM. Went on my laptop (running WIN10 BTW) & opened Google Play (App Store). Typed in EZMira (which is what is ON my TV screen for directions). NOTHING comes up. I go to my web browser type in EZMIRA Google Play & low & behold it comes up! WOW! Guess what though: It is ONLY available for my cell phone!! NOT WHAT I WANTED IT FOR!! I NEEDED to cast from my laptop to the TV so I can SEE projects I'm working on LARGER & how they will look on a larger screen for clients! THIS is NOT going to work! I feel cheated & SO SHOULD YOU IF YOU BUY THIS! FYI: I have a computer tech in the house (though I didn't need him for this) & we DO KNOW how to do things. THIS product is NOT for use with a computer!

The whole reason I got this thing was to watch videos from my computer to my TV and to use my TV as a second screen. I can use my TV as a second screen like I wanted (doesn't ONLY mirror, will also extend the display). However, anything I do has lag. The mouse cursor lags, the videos lag horribly and pixelate, then the audio lags or jumps. It's fine if you just want to keep some other windows open, but it's infuriating trying to watch a clip of something. A three-minute YouTube video lagged so much I'm on my way to order something else... I've been trying to use this item for an hour.Easy to connect, but doesn't connect automatically when you shut things down and turn them back on. Said another way; I have to go through ALL of the connection steps every time I turn my computer and TV on. I can't just set it up so my computer knows this particular AnyCast dongle, and I can't have it automatically connect. Total pain in the booty cheeks having to go through all the steps every single time I turn my stuff on. Would be way mo betta if it would just connect automatically, and if it had the speed/capacity to run videos.

Very easy to setup and use. I bought this for my son to use to connect his iPad to our Android TV. The picture quality is good for what my son uses it for (Roblox). This is the second one I've purchased. The first one lasted about 2 months then it stopped working. Not sure what happened to it but the TV screen is blank and nothing can connect to it not even devices that previously connected. I've only used this with Apple devices. So far this second one is working perfectly so hopefully it continues to function. The price is very reasonable so I won't be too upset if I can get at least a year out of it. Hopefully the first one breaking quickly was the exception and not the rule with this product.

Long story, short… it works right out of the box, with easy, minimal setup. This is a “WOW” product at a minimal price!It claims to work on 4K and 1080P resolution with no need to switch modes. I have no way to verify that claim, however, it worked just fine on my 10-year-old Sony TV without a hitch. I’m guessing that it’ll perform just as well on a new Smart, or 4K TV, as well.I had free HDMI and USB connections on my TV, so I just plugged it in and the device was ready to go. Once I switched the TV input to the proper HDMI input, the configuration screen popped right up. Pairing the device with your phone, tablet, or laptop is simple, if you can follow a few simple directions. Seriously, a child could do it.And that was it. I choose the Mirror function on my iPhone, and there was my phone’s screen displayed on my TV. It’s seamless; video and sound can now be displayed directly on your television screen. Instead of watching YouTube and other videos on your phone’s tiny screen, you can now put them up on you TV without any other expensive equipment.As far as I’m concerned, the AnyCast device is everything I liked about the Apple TV mirroring function… at a fraction of the cost. You won’t be disappointed.

This thing is pretty terrible. I thought since it supposedly supported miracast technology I could connect to it as a wireless display. This isn't the case. You have to download some custom software, connect to the dongle as your wifi source, and then go to a special IP adress page to have the dongle connect to your actual internet.I (eventually) got it to work the first time I'd tried it after about 2 hours of fiddling with it and reading the online manual, which was made more difficult by the fact that every time I connected to the device, I lost internet.The second time I tried to use it, however, it didn't work. It kept dropping the connecting whenever I tried to connect to it as a wifi, and when it did finally connect and I got the app to mirror the screen, it would immediately drop the moment I tried to get it to connect to the router for internet. I recommend avoiding this thing.
