This turned out to be an excellent investment. This portable water storage container is perfect for everything from short day trips to longer week-long camping excursions. I’ve used it on several occasions now, and it has quickly become one of my essential camping items. One of the features I love most about this water container is its 5-gallon capacity, which is more than enough to provide water for cooking, drinking, and cleaning over an extended period. The 18.5L size strikes a perfect balance between being large enough for multiple uses without being cumbersome to carry. The container is surprisingly lightweight, and when it’s full, it is still manageable, especially with the sturdy handle, which makes lifting and pouring easier. The spigot is a real game-changer. Works great. No leaks. The plastic is thick and well made. We use the container when camping. It holds five gallons so when full it is heavy of course. Overall the price was right, the quality is good. I don't have problems cleaning it.

I needed a 4-5 gallon water jug for my RV, that could withstand being shaken around without springing a leak. Everything is so overpriced nowadays, so this 5gal jug was "relatively" fair priced. The jug I received was exactly as shown in the product photos. Included was: 5gal jug, large cap, small cap, small spigot, one 4" clear spigot-extender tube, 1 attached vent-plug, 1 extra vent-plug, 1 small foam cleaning wand, and an extra gasket to add to the large cap if needed. Excellent! More than I'd expected; although I'll likely never use the tiny cleaning wand as it's a bit flimsy. I've tested it out once so far, fully filled up and no leaks even when shaken upside down. Note that 5 gals of water weighs 40 pounds! So having two handles is very useful. I like the design where it can be stored horizontally, and then turned vertically (or just tipped a little) to dispense water. The spigot is great: simply turn it to go from off, trickle, or any amount up to a full faucet force. I was surprised how large a volume the spigot could dispense, with or without the attached 4" clear tube extender. The plastic jug is definitely thicker than those one-use water jugs you buy at a grocery store. However, it's not hard-sided; meaning it does flex a tiny bit when you fill it full. So it's hard to say how many years I'll get before it wears out and has a leak, or a plastic cap breaks / strips. But for this price range I'm very happy with it so far. My only "complaint" is that there are no labels for water level built into the side. So I'll just use a Sharpie marker to mark off levels in gallon increments, for the horizontal storage position.

I like this container for extended self-sufficiency while rambling and car camping. I wish it was a little less expensive, but it is a good shape and strong and I like that it can be stored on its back to practically ensure that it is leak-proof, and then it can be tilted up for operation. I got a battery powered water pump made for five-gallon water bottles to use with this so I don't have to tilt it upright at all.

I use this in my office. I carry a bottle of reverse osmosis drinking water from home every day, and top this up with the excess (if there is any) at the end of the day. I use some here and there for in-office meals, or if I run out of drinking water. This is sturdy. It flexes a little when it is nearly full, but not much - certainly doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The handle feels good. The top cap and spigot fit well and don't leak. I take the top cap off a few times each week for filling. The opening is a good size, easy to fill without spilling. The spigot is easy to control. You can get a good flow and still shut it off quickly. It comes with a second front cap, a blank one. Whichever one you aren't using can be stored inside the can, under the top lid. There is also a flexible nozzle, which can be stowed in a recess in the side of the can. The nozzle didn't seem like anything special, but it worked fine. I don't use the nozzle normally. It also comes with extra gaskets and a brush.

Perfect size that doesn’t take too much room.👍
