I'm writing this review after carrying the wallet for more than two years. Other than being 'broken in' - normal wear that allows the wallet to be more flexible and stay closed when it's removed from my front pants pocket - it still looks just like the day I received it. I was looking for a wallet EXACTLY like this one to replace that one I received as a gift about forty years earlier. After carrying the same wallet for all those years, I couldn't settle for anything less (or it seems, different). I needed a black wallet, with eight credit/debit card slots, two horizontal slots behind the card slots and two bill pockets. This wallet met those requirements exactly, and even included an additional, removable ID and card holder (which I haven't used... yet). Add to that the beautiful (appears to be high quality) leather, precise stitching and RFID protection... what more could I possibly want? If I ever need another wallet (maybe after another forty years?), this is the only one I'd consider buying! I can imagine this wallet lasting another forty years - when I'll be 102 years old. The wallet came packaged in a nice gift box. The pictures show the wallet after more than two years of use.

I love the color, looks great. This is my 2nd wallet, the 1st one was black and still feels, looks, and works great. I really like this color for a change and it holds more credit cards. Of course the more credit cards, the thicker the wallet. I don't have a problem carring this wallet in my front pocket in any of my pants. You not only see the quality, but you feel the quality as well. It is a little stiffer than I would prefer, but I know in time that it will soften up and feel much softer, quality leather. I had a hard time purchasing a new wallet with a perfectly good one in my pocket, but I knew it would be a good investment because of the durabily of daily abuse these wallets will take. GREAT VALUE !!!

A bit thick but otherwise a really nice wallet

The design of the wallet is functional and practical. While it is just a bit thicker than anticipated, it comfortably accommodates all of my credit and identification cards. I especially enjoy the detachable id holder. The leather is good quality and is softening with use. This serves my needs perfectly as a woman's wallet.
