If I understand the question, it should just pull off. Might have to work it a bit, but mine just popped right off.

Q: Does it fit the old paint n roll manual feed?

Yes the roller that I bought did fit the Wagner Power Roller that I have perfectly. I did not have any problem at all, it was just like the original roller that was part of the new package when I bought the power roller new.
