What is it about people as they get older that their toenails decide to grow thicker? I don't know.Nevertheless, thicker nails WILL yield to these clippers. I love them. And they work. If your toenails (or those of a close friend or relative) are too much for standard store-bought clippers, order up a pair or two of these. [I ordered two pairs, as my family members are adept at misplacing clippers.]

This's not your average nail clipper.You have to be very careful when using for the 1st time, because it's very sharp. But that is a great thing. You don't have to struggle cutting "THICK" toenails. The way that it's designed to be easily used with both hands is an added bonus. This must be what the professional pedi, and manicurist use on their customers because of their ease of use. Great product.

My old clipper was just that--very old. I have very thick nails on my big toes. One from ingrown nail removal. The other from dropping a 3 lb frozen roast on it. Never knew that was the cause until I went to the foot doctor about my arthritis pain. This clipper cuts them easily and is very easy to hold on to. Also, comes in a little tin for storage.

These toenail clippers are excellent. They easily widened enough to handle the thick nails. Extremely sharp so be careful. In fact, I drew blood the first time I used them. I use a headlight to illuminate. Well made.
