The original part is discontinued by MTD. The part supplied will not work on my mower
Part supplied would not work on my mower. Check the configuration of your original adaptor. If it is not like the new one pictured it will not work. If it is the older style with a removable key, it looks like Maxpower 330205 Blade Adapter Kit MTD-Pack. I have not ordered this part yet to confirm it is a direct replacement for my original part.

experience could have been better
was the wrong part. may have been my fault for not paying more attention when I ordered. ad did not have a more detailed picture of the part. anyway, went to W*****t and spent another $17 on a universal blade to fit. part was delivered on time.
