ClarksWomen's Ashland Lane Q Slip-On Loafer

I bought these to replace a pair of Clark's that had been discontinued. I love the way they look, and they're comfortable EXCEPT they're a bit too long, even though they're the same size as my last Clark's (8). I often take an 8.5, so it's unusual for an 8 to be slipping off a bit at the back when I walk. I added some padding at the back of the shoe so that they don't slip as much, especially if I wear thicker socks, but I'd hoped to wear these in the spring and fall, when I don't need heavy socks. I can wear them for occasional use, but not for daily walking on errands or to the subway, etc.

My mom noticed I was wearing my brown pair of these shoes at church a couple of weeks ago and immediately said she wanted a pair in black. Clarks can be a bit expensive, so I was pleased to see that not only did Amazon have the shoes in black, but they were also on sale. Mom got her shoes a week later and she's thrilled with them. I've had mine for years and they've worn well - I love anything made by Clarks!

Shopping for shoes is such a pain ... often literally. I needed something comfortable to wear at work that wouldn't kill my feet as I broke them in. I read some reviews and they were spot on. I'm a loyal Clark's customer now!

I stand on my feet all day and these have been the best for my feet out of 4pair others I have tried! I've ordered another pair just to have got back up.

I'm from a tropical country and I freelance, so I live in sandals and open shoes, but I need the occasional decent loafer for interviews and meetings in corporate settings, and closed shoes usually mean blisters all over. This one? Nope. I love the just-right arch support, great cushion, and sleek look. They're not completely broken in yet, but I expect they will only get more comfy.

For walking

I originally ordered this shoe in brown size 8 PERFECT. Ordered the same in black - had to return to exchange for a 7. I kept the shoe even tho the shoe seems to fit differently on each foot. The right shoe doesn't fit as well as the left. I was looking for a shoe with good arch support. At least I can return it they don't fit. I'd have given 5 stars except for the sizing and the black shoe fit. Will buy again because I like the brown shoes.

These shoes are for my mom. As SOON as we put these Clarks on Mom, she immediately said these are so comfortable. My sister has the same shoes. Thumbs up!!

I bought a size 9 1/2 w to replace a pair I have worn lots for 6 or 7 years. Very comfortable.

Width is good. Shoes look smart and fasten easily. Overall a good buy for the money

Schuh sah sehr gut aus, hätte ich gerne für den Sonderpreis !! behalten. leider zu groß.Was ist nur mit den Größen bei den Clarks Schuhen los ? Seit Jahren trage ich die Größe 38. Von den Un Loop Slippern besitze ich mittlerweile fünf Paar in verschiedenen Farben, einige seit einigen Jahren und immer noch tragbar, immer die Größe 38. Das letzte Paar bestellte ich auf Grund der letzten Rezessionen eine Nr. größer, also Gr. 39. Die waren doch tatsächlich viel zu eng und mussten zurück. Um weitere Rücksendungen zu vermeiden, habe ich von weiteren Bestellungen Abstand genommen.Bisher galt für mich immer : Clarks anziehen und sich wohl fühlen !Schade,mit freundlichen Grüßen

I have worn Clarks shoes for years and these are really good. The styling on the instep gapes a little but that's the shape of my feet rather than a fault. So comfortable, soft pliable leather, great non slip sole, will buy again.

Love the style and how the feet are comfortable even at the end of an 8 hour shift. I am on my feet all day.
