**update** I'm just a few days shy of a month now & I'm starting to see some issues. The stitching starting to pull is my biggest concern. So I have one end with a hole about the size of my finger. The other end is already starting to have some of the finish wearing off. Overall design is still great as far as how it carries everything I need. I know for the price paid I shouldn't expect high dollar quality but I really expected more than just a couple of months of use.I've been carrying this bag for a couple of weeks. It appears that it is going to be durable and meet my needs as a realtor. I can currently carry a 13" laptop, an appt book, portfolio notebook, my wallet, a few necessity toiletry items, 2 cell phones, extra glasses, and few business cards in the holder and it doesn't seem to be completely full. So far the only design change that would have made it better was to have the studs on the bottom but otherwise, it is working great. I'm completely certain that this should be good for everyday use for at least 6-8 months if not longer. I'm pretty rough on stuff so I expect to see some wear on the edges or seams by then. If it lasts longer I will be extremely pleased.

I ordered this same bag about 5-6 years ago in the basic black and it work perfectly for business. Laptop files, etc fit perfectly. Just ordered a new one since the other has since seen better days after 5-6 years :). I decided on the PREMIUM Black since it showed the red interior. Well got this yesterday and it is exactly like the one I currently have so very disappointed in that and I paid more for the PREMIUM which is very unfair.

I have spent hours looking for, buying, and returning large totes/laptop bags trying to find The One. This is it - or as close to it as I'm going to get. This bag actually fits my 15.6 inch laptop, which I've found is not a common thing in bags that are supposed to fit a 15.6 inch laptop.My requirements are: a bag that will fit my laptop, carry other necessary sundries, has outside pockets (for stashing a phone, pen, etc.), will stand on its own (i.e., not flop over or collapse in embarrassment when the laptop is taken out), and have a smooth outer surface (so it won't snag on my clothes or cause my blouse to ride up).This bag does all that. And it wasn't crazy expensive.I've only given four stars because, although the bag doesn't look cheap, but it does squeak a bit (which may go away with use). I would also have arranged the inside pockets a little differently, but when you have spent as much time looking for a laptop bag that will fit your freakishly large laptop (so glad I didn't go for the 17 inch!), you have to compromise a bit.

UPDATE 9/2019: I have used this bag for 3 years and the lining is just starting to tear inside. For pretty heavy usage with a laptop that only barely fit inside the bag, I'd say that it was a good bag/laptop case for me. I'm going to try a new case that has a USB charger on it this time, but I may well buy another one of these if the next bag doesn't meet my needs. This bag was pretty heavy by the time I had a large laptop, papers and a spiral notebook for work, pens and pencils, a tablet, phone, wallet, keys, laptop charger, headset, battery pack, mouse, whatever else I dumped into my bag on any given day. I have three different offices that I work out of, so I pretty much carried all of my work supplies from place to place in this bag.9/2016: This bag is huge for me (I can't stand to carry a purse), but it just barely fits my 15.6" Dell laptop. The first couple times I put my laptop in the bag it was pretty difficult to coax it in, but the foam padding has been getting used to the computer over time and it slips in easier now. I do like that it's easy to carry my laptop and any files or notes and the charging cable for the computer with me whenever I'm not in the office. Lots of room. The front pocket is great for slipping my phone, wallet, keys, etc into for easy access.

So I learned that my laptop is way too big for nice expensive bags! I had to learn how to measure a laptop for a bag...by measuring the screen on the diagonal!! Mine is 15.6. Still its straight width is 15 inches, so I was concerned it wouldn't fit in the sleeve of this bag (15 inches wide per the info on Amazon) as I thought the sleeve should measure at least a half inch bigger than the width of the laptop. However, my laptop fits nicely. I'm very pleased that my large laptop and folders fit and while it is large, it doesn't look like a suitcase. It seems quite sturdy and has all kinds of spots for securing small items. It's not leather but it looks nice. My only issue with it is that it doesn't stand up by itself, but I think that as I use it it will probably ease up from it's flat shipping position and will stand up. I'm pleased with it overall especially given the price.

I absolutely love this bag. It has a nice slender appearance but has plenty of room inside and plenty of compartments for organizing. The pebbly faux leather looks great and all seams, etc. appear to be of good quality. It looks like it was much more expensive than the actual cost. There is an outside zippered pocket on one side and an open flat pocket on the other side. Either could easily fit a small calendar type book or wallet or anything not too bulky. A tall glass water bottle fits in the front open pocket without being floppy but it makes the bag a bit bulky. The handles are long enough to use as a shoulder bag but you can also carry it by the handles without dragging on the ground. The inside has a center padded compartment for laptop. There are large sections on both sides of the laptop that are very roomy for folders, books, etc. I fit all my paperwork and notebooks plus keep my laptop, power cord and a medium size calculator, calendar, cell phone, small wallet purse and water bottle in the bag.
