I haven't had to buy a replacement yet and am a little concerned about availability. You can use a lot less shampoo with this showerhead.

We found this system to help with the eczema in our family. Neither of us dye our hair, so it's hard to comment about that aspect. The price tag may be more worth it if you have problems with water or have sensitive skin. I feel more confident with the water quality after installing this system. The only downside is that it's very difficult to have shelves hanging from the showerhead with this system because the filter isn't easily oriented in a way that would allow you to use a shelf. So if you have one of those hanging shelves, you might think of getting one that can stand in a corner or hang from the side of the shower (depending on the style of shower you have) rather than one that hangs below the shower head. I definitely recommend the system. Oh! I almost forgot. It is incredibly difficult to find replacement filters for this shower head. The manufacturer's website is out of stock (too) often, and Sephora/Amazon doesn't sell the replacement filters. It's frustrating because I've had to go extra months at a time just to wait for the filters to be back in stock. The manufacturer's website does have promotions often if you choose to sign up on its e-mail list.

I have rotten egg smelling sulfur water and NOTHING worked until I tried this product. It is absolutely life changing. My hair and my skin are soft, there is no smell and to boot my hair color doesn't fade from the chlorine any more. Worth every penny!
