Not really. NuGo also makes product that contains dairy. It's too expensive to properly clean out the production process when they change from dairy to non-dairy, so anything produced right after the changeover gets dairy. Reading the weasel words on label shows that. IMHO, they should not be allowed to put vegan on the box.

If the OU has the word Pareve next to it there are no dairy ingredients in the product. If you only see the OU, in virtually all cases, the product is dairy free.
