Becoming the Obvious Choice

I read this book about 10 years ago and the concepts have stuck with me. I'm in a senior manager role now and I just recommended it to someone after they were passed over for a role. I reread it today and the recommendations are as relevant today as when I first enjoyed it a decade ago.

A very simple small booklet, not worthy of the price for publication. It was recommended to me from a friend. I was very surprised by the size. Other than that, the content is powerful and a good read for anyone contemplating making a move in careers and/or exploring career opportunities.

Short, but excellent, read.

I like this book so much that I have ordered it for my sister and some of my reporting people. From time to time I often read it just to replenish my committement to better myself.
