Fabulous "Must Read" Thriller
You will not need any financial, medical or pharmaceutical training to follow this marvelous book. It was written for anyone who has ever in their life been to visit a doctor for a consultation, whether you are on the NHS or seeing a private physician. Even if you have never seen a doctor but you have swallowed a pill, caplet, or spoonful of liquid medicine, you must read this book. It will completely change your way of thinking about the pharmaceutical industry and your views of traditional (or even holistic) medicine. This is absolutely the most thought provoking book about the way most people think about their health in general and the mistaken views that they have about the pharmaceutical industry. This is not a merely a pharmaceutical industry-bashing screed, but a fresh, questioning look at how doctors treat ailments with pills instead of looking at and treating the root causes of the person's illness. If more doctors read this book they would reconsider their methods of prescribing medication for common illnesses. There is also the great financial-thriller aspect to this book, but it is as much an in depth assessment of our pill popping society as it is a fast paced financial thriller. This is a marvelous book.

Very , Very Entertaining
I had this book in my collection for weeks and always picked up another book and delayed reading Sweet Talking Money , Maybe it was because of the non-descript title , maybe because of the uninspiring author's name Harry Bingham , maybe because a book about genetic science seems like an unlikely story . However I finally got round to reading this book and what a wonderful surprise it was. I throughly enjoyed this intelligent , humourous and fast moving story and I will now be rushing to read another Harry Bingham book.

very bland
i am a city trader and found this a very tedious, obvious plot. also the story was ruined by the author's personal distain for the city which crept into his every paragraph. very poor, i can't see how the other reviewers have read the same book!

A real page turner with a few laughs a long the way
I picked up Harry Bingham's first book "The Money Makers" at a train station almost by chance. I got so engrossed in it I almost missed my stop. When I saw he had a second book out I was keen to read it and I was not disappointed. Quite simply it is a damn good yarn with a light touch and plenty of suprising twists and turn all the way through.
