Excellent night vision
The media could not be loaded. The extra wide field of view really suit as video door bell as it covers a large area, I can clearly see delivery man walking up to the door and everything is in view including the parcel he was holding right up to door step. The night vision is impressive and the recorded footage is really clear on mobile device. When door bell is pushed the remote chime and door bell itself will ring and there are plenty of ring tone to choose from. At the same time your phone will show an alert and notify you someone is at the door or when motion is detected etc where ever you are as long as you have good internet connection. It runs on rechargeable batteries which is included, all you need to do is take the door bell off the door and plug in a USB cable to the back and let it recharge. Battery mileage varies, depends on how often your doorbell is activated etc.

video doorbell
we did a bit of searching for a replacement video doorbell......we did have a "ring" one for a few years.....which worked well but required a subscription etc etc and the new model of that was expensive....this new one comes with cloud storage and no subscription,,,,,and a great price as well.....so we ordered it...thinking oh well it's not expensive lets try it.....it is BRILLIANT.....easy to install and set up ....the app on my phone is also easy to use....and a bonus it also comes with a chime that you can plug in anywhere....... so far can't fault it ........100% glad we purchased it.....

Almost perfect except one thing.
This is an amazing product for the price it does everything perfectly except the one thing it is bought for. When you are at home and a device with the app is within range of the doorbell it works fine but it does not connect to a device when you are away from home. So point less in that respect. It does capture movements but it works best when someone actually rings the doorbell. If someone just knocks or leaves a parcel it may just record a few seconds of that movement but only alerts the device in the house. I am very happy with it and do not regret buying it but just disappointed it wasn't what I expected with regards being away from the house.

Works Really Well However
The unit is very easy to install and pairing to the door chime was simple. The Aiwit app on my S10+ Android mobile phone works well and alerts me to callers flawlessly. My wife has an account and I have my own account and both can receive independent alerts if required. The 1080p video is top quality. Up to now we have been unable to receive alerts over 4g when away from home but this could be due to a port forwarding issue on the router which I will look into separately. However this matters little as we purchased it to use for when at home on the internal ethernet network. The battery seems to last for ages without need of recharge. I consider the less tech savvy may struggle a little with this unit judging from the many reveiws on Amazon but overall a 3 star unit.Update 23rd Sep 2020I have now had chance to use this unit for three weeks at home and away from the house. Connecting to the unit from my samsung s10+ takes far too long and the person at the door has left before you get chance to speak. Also the fifteen seconds of video is not long enough too catch the person on the video. Finally in the box is a leaflet giving you the oppurtunity to be sent a free extra door bell chime if you give a review of the unit on the Amazon site. I did this and sent it to the supplier who sais they would send a chime. That was 3 weeks ago .It never arrived. The unit is being returned to Amazon and a Ring door bell being purchased. I have reduced my feedback to 3 stars

I should have known!
What did I like about the product:Well, that's easy! Nothing! To be fair, it does LOOK nice, nice box it came in, well packaged. What did I dislike about the product: (Amazon doesn't give me enough space,so I'll just outline the main aspects)Installation, pairing and setup. Unfortunately, i didn't get past first base! I was unable to get it to attach to the 2.4GHz WLAN, no matter what I did. I have a separate IoT network for these buggy, insecure devices, with many IoT devices attached (a bit complicated, but simple in practice), I use a very secure password to prevent unwanted r soles from hacking into that part, and every other device seems to accept my joyfully annoying password. "Connection to wireless network, failed" is all I get and "password error" So, not wanting to use another password and change ALL my IoT devices to something that this POS wants, is not my idea of fun! It doesn't even have the capability of scanning your Wi-Fi to show you the available networks - seriously? Overall, the installation process is overly complicated for 2020 expectations. So, unfortunately, I can't tell you any more, as I can't get past the initial pairing stage! So, whether it's a faulty unit, doesn't like my SSID, doesn't like my password, doesn't like me! I have no idea, but it's on its way back to Mr Amazon as a faulty unit. Just one more thing: if you need any assistance, tough mitties! No website, no installation guide apart from the manual that's just real basic. It's another couple of hours of my life wasted on a fruitless task. We should get life credits for time wasted - preferably from the idiot that designs and manufactures these woefully disappointing devices.ADDITIONAL BORING RAMBLE (read at your own peril)Alternatives:Nest, now owned by Google, and with their privacy policy, no-one in their right mind would use them! And that's apart from the numerous other reasons like subscription based storage and remote viewing.Ring is a subscription-based storage facility at £8 per month (as of 2020) on top of the high price of the doorbell itself. You pay more to get night vision capability! Many need to be hard-wired in! You pay more to get audio capability! Ring also recommends you get it professionally installed - so another hit for your pocket! Basically, if the quality, features, obsolescence and running costs were as high as its price, then it would be a contender, but it's just Ring - a budget brand!Ubiquiti is somewhat over-rated, but their offering needs additional equipment, which adds to the cost.Hundreds of Chinese brands. Well, same boat as the KameP, suck it and see!So, either go for spending a fortune or risk the disappointment, the choice is yours. The market is there, but the technology isn't up to scratch.
