Love it .I had some led string lights and they were just to bright.I wanted to dim them down a little and this plug work great.Paired it to my Google home and no problem. Would definitely recommend. Worth the money

It worked very good for about 4 years. The connection to Alexa was very easy. I see that this item was returned by several people. Mine didn't have any problems, but I did not use mine outdoors. It was in the attic controlling the recessed lights in the family room. It was nice to just say "Alexa, set overhead lights to 25 percent".

I use this for the outside Edison lights in my gazebo. It is about 20 yards from my wifi and works perfectly. Can turn on and dim from inside my house. Works great!

I put a roof over my deck this summer, and it has a ceiling fan and string lights around the perimeter. The lights are plug into an outlet that is switched and on the same line as the fan (so when the fan is switched on the outlet has power and vice versa). This means the only way to have on the fan but not the lights is to unplug them off the 8' ceiling; something my wife can't reach. I was hoping to use a photocell plug in to make it so the lights only came on after the sunset, but couldn't get anything to work as the lights messed it up. I knew an analog timer also wouldn't work as the time would get off when the switch was off. I thought this smart plug would be just what i needed to solve my probelm hoping that it would be able to keep on schedule without a consistent power supply. Although it does do that, every time the power is shut off and turned back on, the device has to either be turned on on the box, or through the app to resume to scheduled programming. So although it ulimately solved the problem of making it easier to turn the lights on/off independent of the fan, the fact that it has to be manually turned on every time makes it not as useful as I had hoped.

Needed to have a dimmer switch as well as sunrise/sunset control, and this does both. Getting the sunrise/sunset portion to work correctly was a bit of a challenge. Here are the steps to set it up that I got from Treatlife:For On1. Please open your Treatlife app2. It should go to the home screen3. At the bottom you will see the "smart" button, click4. Click the plus sign at the upper right corner (it will go to the create scene screen)5. "Select When the weather changes”>> Sunset Sunrise6. Set the desired time for the device action (trigger), (Sunset)7. Then press the plus sign button on the far-right side of "Then"8. Under "Add task" select "Run device"9. Select the desired device >> Select function >> Switch "ON"10. Select On or Off (or Reverse Switch) >> Click Save11. It will go back, click next >> Save >> You will see a prompt "Automation created. Start using it?" >> Click on "Yes" A saved prompt will appear and you are done.Repeat for Off1. Please open your Treatlife app2. It should go to the home screen3. This is an excellent outdoor switch for controlling patio lights. The routines and dimming features are very user friendly. I’ve had one for 4 yrs now, and it’s currently even cheaper than what I had paid.

This is a really good product. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that it’s kinda bulky. But it works great. I purchased two to use with our outdoor lighting. I can set it on a timer to light up & turn off at specific times. I can also set the dimmer adjusting the lights with my iPhone. Super easy to use.
