The RX brand has become my go to for high-quality healthy protein bars. Because of this, I think they are reasonably priced as you expect to pay a little bit more for higher quality, healthier items. Is this fair? Of course not but it’s just the way it is! This peanut butter one is one of my favorites and I also love the chocolate chip and the peanut butter chocolate as well. They also have fruit ones and I’ve tried the blueberry, which is good too. The health system I am a part of as a patient sends out a monthly newsletter and they mentioned these as a healthy processed food because they only have a few ingredients which are all healthy. They even have it listed on the packaging! I also like the fact that they are sugar-free. They also don’t have any artificial sweeteners but are sweetened with dates. They are delicious nutritious and keep me full for a long time. They are also high-quality and have a good shelf life.

One of my favorite flavors is the Peanut Butter! These things give me the boost of protein that I need in the middle of the day. They are filling, they are not hard and have a good chewy but not too chewy texture, they are the perfect size and are a great quality for the price.

Many Amazon reviewers are divas. I've read a lot of reviews for this product that complain about taste and texture. What they fail to realize is that most protein bars are basically candy bars with added protein, and so their palates are accustomed to that type of "health bar." What appeals to me most about these bars is that the ingredients are clear, clean, and straightforward. Ingredients on the back match the ingredients on the front. Regardless of the specific flavor you order, most of them will have a somewhat lightly sweetened Fig Newton-like taste. I've found the chocolate sea salt flavor to be my favorite, so far.I think if you're looking for a clean source of energy, then you should try this bar. I've tried many, many, many protein bars, and this is the only one that I've come across that has CLEAN ingredients. And not only does it have clean ingredients but it looks like a clean product.And, yes, the bars are chewy, which is a good thing if you're trying to lose weight and get the most out of an energy/protein bar. It is not chewy like taffy but chewy like a typical date fruit.

These are just absolutely terribly tasting. And way too gooey! My teeth were completely gummed up after just a few bites. Did they melt during delivery or this is how they leave the factory?I bought three flavors, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Vanilla Almond, and they're all gross-tasting and sticky-gooey. And I buy A LOT of protein bars.However, I will admit if you go by the ingredients, they are very good bars! So it's too bad I would never put these in my mouth again. Just Yuck.
