I ordered two light replacements for my Singer sewing machine that I bought in 1983. The light I had in it was the original and amazingly lasted through 6 moves! These arrived safely and both work fine and are easy to install.

I was very impressed.that these lights fit my 1933 Singer sewing machine that I just recently inherited.

This bulb turned out to be too short - my sewing machine takes a longer bulb. Aside from that, it's probably a perfectly good bulb, but I'm fairly certain now that there's a fault in my old machine, because I've now tried four or five bulbs, none of which worked unless I pushed on the end of the bulb to force it to make contact. I don't think there's actually anything wrong with the bulb.

I bought a used, old-school, Kenmore Ultra Stitch-12, sewing machine. It needed a new bulb and this was the right one. It goes in with a push and slight twist. Be gentle installing it, as the twisting motion can separate the bulb from the socket. I had read this in the reviews, and bought a 2-pack, just in case! But it went in fine; no issues, so now I have a spare.
