Great for mycology
I've been using this agar to prepare fill petri dishes for my mycology hobby. It's been working great and doesn't seem to have any preservatives that can hinder mycelium growth. The powder dissolves easily in hot water and doesn't leave much sediment. The agar ends up nice and clear

Works as promised, a clean commodity product.
Product works as promised. Clean, reusable packaging. Reasonable price compared to competitors. What's not to like? Rated 4 stars to leave room for improvement such as recipes or application notes on the package - or a website with usage examples, procedures, liquid ratios, photos, and videos. Marketing with the viewpoint of serving your customer's needs will earn you loyalty, selling product merely as a commodity regardless of competitive pricing won't.

Guilt free desserts oh my!
After starting keto with watching my protein intake, normal gelatin became undesirable. Don’t want to use up my protein quota for desert. And it’s close to impossible to find sugar free Jello-type desserts without detrimental artificial sweeteners like Sucralose or worse, Aspartame. So what’s a sweet tooth person to do? Introducing Agar Agar and stevia or monk fruit or allulose. So many healthy sweeteners with agar agar that itself is healthy and extremely versatile. From thickening up hot gravy to making the most delicious desserts it’s now my go-to “jelly” getting used daily. It opened up endless options for desserts from turning strong mocha with cream into a jelly dessert or using it with osmanthus tea with the edible flowers floating prettily in the jelly for a Chinese treat. Or, even simpler, use some raspberries and add them to boiling water with some raspberry flavoring and agar agar. Let it cool and sit for a bit and combine with a dollop of whipped cream. Quite decadent without guilt. The downside is that agar agar requires for the liquid to actually simmer for 3 to 5 minutes. The much bigger upside is that it becomes solid without refrigeration and stays solid even during an outdoor potluck. The mouth feel is a little different than gelatin or kappa carrageenan (which gives me and many people stomach issues): it’s more crunchy than melt in your mouth. But that goes very well with fruity-type deserts, for example with embedded berries. After having brought such contributions to several potlucks they are now getting requested and, funnily, the non-keto people line up first!

Best I Have Ever Used
Makes a fantastic gelatin. Requires less than store bought powders to obtain the same firm results. This is a vegan product and contains no animal products used by other companies, such as ground animal hoofs or innards.
