Very helpful book
I like that the author provides solid advice rather than a bunch of business buzzwords and trendy concepts. I especially like that he includes tips from various CIO's specific to the topic he is covering.

yuck
If you're actually reading this, you probably don't have a choice but to get this book and read it for a course...but on the off chance you're not required to use it....DON'T. It's more of a book of minutes from interviews with IT leaders in different companies. Almost every line is a quote and it's just a terrible read. There is nothing earth-shattering because there is no clear "lecture" on topics, it's all a conversation with people about their experience.

Excellent Book
This is a perfect "how to" guide for a CIO or a business leader interested in building a high performance IT organization. It's an excellent book and a must read. The book provides a straight forward roadmap for partnering with business peers to leverage technology to create a competitive advantage.

Shallow and unaccomodating...
This is a very shallow book with nothing original to offer. The author's approach is very inflexible and will not work in very many different situations.
