The Mini Zen Calligraphy Board

Agree completely with previous reviewer. I bought two of these thinking they might be fun for my niece and nephew, but so small they couldn't really do much with them. I found the little bowl delightful though. I would not recommend this small size. Perhaps I would recommend if it were bigger and the brush was a rounded, pointed brush.

I got one of these for the Hoildays It is very cute, although very small... The small bowl and and brush are oddly more of a highlight then the actual board and book. The board works just as it should, black when wet, grey when dry. Although if you are looking to get one of these for a friend, (such as a office gift) it would probably be better to spend the extra buck or two and get a bigger one. (Trust me, they will enjoy it much more having more space to doodle in) They are also known as "Buddha Boards" I personally have a CD case sized one that I use with the brush and bowl I got from this mini set.The set though makes a cute random gift, but unless on a shelf it is easily knocked over due to it's ligthwight and cheap plasic.
