Easy to fit and very good quality

I found this hose straightforward to fit. You don't need to disassemble the brush head at all. Just the neck.You need to take the backplate off the part that joins the head to the neck of the joint: the bit with the 3 screws in. You then need to unseat the little metal plug and push it aside. Then you need to remove the screws in the plastic top to the hose.After that, you just have to unscrew the plastic top, which screws off clockwise, and remove the old hose from the brush head. I don't believe they are glued in, actually, but it might be very well jammed. Because my hose was split in two, I used a large pair of pliers to pull it out piece by piece until the coil and surrounding plastic was all out.Then, all you need to do is screw in the new hose anti-clockwise as far as you can get it to screw in, thread it through the aperture, put it out of the aperture and then screw the plastic top on anticlockwise as far as it will go, fit the plastic head back into its seating and refit the pieces you disassembled. That's it. It only took a few minutes.

Easy to install and very well priced. If you struggle to install then there a reyoutube vids that can help . Took me just under an hour and saved my Shark

used on a vax 32v blade booster head, works fine but not easy to fit. Vax;s do not make their hovers to be repaired.

Wasn't aware beforehand you could so easily buy reliable spare parts for the Vax Blade cordless vacuum! Was managing for a few weeks with duct tape patch repairs on my floorhead's broken hose but then it snapped completely so no suction at all and worried it would mean the end of the unit's life. Searched Amazon expecting to have to buy a whole new brush head but quite by chance found just the replacement hose needed on Amazon at an incredibly agreeable price! Definitely value for money, came by next day delivery as a twinpack, so one to effect the immediate repair plus a spare! Easy to replace, my Vax picks up again as good as a new unit! Totally satisfied! Happy to recommend this product, and Amazon, and will happily buy again! 5* happy customer! 👍

So was a bit confused on how to do this, the instructions arent very detailed, but turns out (I think) that you just screw it into the old pipe, meaning you only really have to take off the top (stick end) joint bit to fit it really.Heres what I did anyway, unscrewed the red stick end piece, 5 screws, and disconnected the joint (theres a little silver locking ring thing on one side of the joint that sort of clips it together (careful its a bit fragile). Then removed most of the old pipe leaving about 2cm in place sticking out, so leaving some old pipe where it has been originally glued in (good luck trying to remove the whole thing and re-glue a new one without special tools.)Push twist do a shanty and pray to get the new pipe to screw inside the old one on the head end, once you get it started and the ridges lined up it still takes some effort but will screw in all the way nicely and give a good seal. (cleaning dust from the inside of the old pipe helps).Make sure its through the joint piece correctly and do the same and screw it into the red piece on the other stick end, once nice and tight put the joint back together and put the screws and electrical connection back in place and youre done.
