Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Select Ground Coffee - Organic, UTZ Certified - 2Kg (4 Packs x 500g)

It’s always hard to review things like this as everyone’s taste is different, it would be boring if we all liked the same things.But, from my own taste this coffee is horrific! I have been having the note d’espresso arabica on subscription for well over year but as that is not currently available I tried this and it is awful!The roast appears uneven, as can be seen in the paper after a brew from my machine.I was extremely disappointed with it, especially having ordered 2 kilos.As above, it may be the perfect coffee for you but for me it’s one of the worst I’ve ever tasted.

I am delighted with these coffee beans. Freshly roasted, full of flavour beans. Great value for money! The beans are medium roast, they smell amazing and have this lovely greasiness to them. The flavour resembles “blonde” types of roasted beans, light and more acidic than bitter which may not be to everyone’s taste.

I got the whole beans version of these for using in my bean to cup machine. The first 5-6 cups were absolutely horrible until I got my grind size and strength settings sorted. Initially I was thinking I'd wasted my money on 2kg of it as then bingo - the fine tuning of the settings got me exactly where I wanted taste-wise. Now I can say that it is a really terrific tasting coffee. I've got the acidic bitter tones just to the right level and can enjoy what I would describe as a traditional 'continental' tasting coffee. I've got it set to give a nice mild tasting coffee with enough of a punch to keep the interest.

I like a strong, even somewhat bitter note coffee, but this is unpleasently so. I've tried many of the Happy Belly and Solimo Amzon brands, some of which are great, some middling but fine for every day,However, this is potentially undrinkable, certainly the worst of the bunch so far, which is a bit of an issue given its a 2kg, I will give it some more cups, but not sure I will open the next pack.

Beautiful intense flavour when used in a cafetiere. Genuinly shocked by how delicious this coffee is and at a crazy price that I couldnt beat anywhere else. The grind is fairly fine so perfect for paper or metal filters. I have a jug of this coffee every morning and it is absolutely delicious, very smooth with no harsh acidity. I brew 30grams to half litre of water let it stand for five minutes then lightly stir it then scoop the foam from the top then plunge the cafetiere beautiful.

This is my second delivery of this coffee. I enjoy it and grinding my own beans is no problem. Have set up a subscribe and save order.

Very impressed with this, especially for the price.I use this in a bean to cup machines and with now working from home have been going through Alot of coffee so have this ago as it's cheaper than my usual brand and I must say it equals the more expensive beans IMO.Set it on a finer ground of your brewing method allows to get a decent crema and delicious flavor.
